I was told this by a former engineer from Sony. She is thought to place at number 15 where the current (publicly) noted #15 now stands. Go figure. Awesome talent.

she brought soul back to R&B in the 90's and jump started the careers of many artists we enjoy today.... ironc, BET banned her in the late 90's. They are watery anyway so that doesn't suprise me, what does is why she so.............. freakin' under rated!!!

Yes she was an army brat and her parents traveled a lot. Her father is/was a jazz musician and she went on with her music to evolve herself...She is a beautiful songstress excellent guitarist and I LOVE HER SO MUCH.

For all her "butchness", I dare say she turns all kinds of ppl on, she's HOT in every sense of that colloquialism!! She is herself and never compromises to play the mainstream's "chic puppet", which is yet another admirable quality she has.

I've been looking for this song since Spring 2003. I tried to search using the "All I want is you" but could not find that song. Then I came across it on the movie "Higher Learning" this morning, got all the lyrics and looked it up, and here I am. I knew I'd find it some day.
