  • OMG! Teacher without head! Hell sends us Teacher without head!

  • Thank you very much! You a good teacher!

  • is this daff?

  • OK

  • very well done. i bought a very traditional drum many years ago, and although i have literally never touched it in years (my father doesn't like music), i feel it sounds much better. it's made out of some kind of animal skin, which sounds much more natural and easier on the ears. i don't like the sharp quality the drumming makes on metal.

    great drumming, though. :)

  • Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • May thanks for this very nice lesson!

  • Muito Bom!!!!!!!!!

  • I have one that looks almost exactly the same...:)

  • good

  • that's crazy! I have a derbouka.. wish I could play like that..!

  • It's so simple, everyone can play it. All you need is to mimic the real professional, that's all!

  • @Qwerti60 That's easier said than done. My fingers and hands can't move that fast.. they kinda freeze when I get up to a certain speed.. it's like they can't follow

  • If you want it's possible. It's not hard paying the darbuka

  • @Qwerti60 I didn't say I can't play the darbouka.. I meant I cant play really fast..

  • I only said that it's possiible to play the darbuka very fast. I'm not professional player but I played it one time and very fast

  • totally lost me LOL

  • I like the beat at 3:47.......reminds me of the deserts(in a cool way)....

  • very helpful thanx!

  • its actually a remo darabuka, and i think if u tune it good, they sound very nice. the one his playing doesnt sound so bad. so lakrohbro if u think his 1 sounds bad y dont u post one up of u playing urs and see how it sounds?

  • u need a new derbaki mate bad sound! no pop

  • Is Darbuka difficult to learn for someone who didnt begin in childhood?please reply me.!shukran

  • Darbuka isn't as difficult as some other drums.

As with any drum, you can be any age when you start. It all depends on how dedicated you are to learning it!

In other words: if you really want to learn darbuka and you practice a lot, then you should get good eventually.

  • not hard at all my friend i have done it sincei was 16 im now 17 and doing great in strides

  • Very nice, I have one Jordanian Tablah and this video helps me to learn more over my expreiance.

    Nice THANK YOU.

  • can a sing to manual made instrument like yours but is made manual is from africa??

  • Very helpful

  • you r really good at teaching post some more videos with more rythms if u want really good :D

  • what a great sounding drum! is yours aluminum or ceramic?

  • alimunium obviously. seramic ones sound deeper with a bass tone in the end of the movements..

  • @Worldmusicrevolution It's made out of wood with skyndeep head from the Remo percussion company. It's a soumbaty doumbek and I believe it's one of the best because I have one.

  • Comment removed

  • @glorplaxy I respect your opinion but I've played the best soumbaty doumbeks but this one makes different sound and most of professional doumbek masters have one of these doumbeks because in soumbaty series this ergo drum has a lot to say. I state what I know and what I've seen still thanks for your opinion

  • Comment removed

  • @glorplaxy Those are REAL doumbek masters. I'm talkin about the masters that I know and live in the western world not the greatest masters on earth that live in middle east. Not everyone on this planet has access to the Doumbeks that Misliri Ahmet and other great masters in middle east play. I agree with you on the price but I still like it cause it was the first doumbek I bought.

  • @Worldmusicrevolution This doumbek is made out of wood from the Remo company equipped with Skyndeep drum head and it's called Remo Ergo-drum

  • Hey this is good! i hope i can buy my first Darbuka very soon! Thanks for taking the time to show us :D

  • i hav a problem wer i mostly use my right hand. any tips??

  • bravo

  • Thx!

  • nice:-)

  • This one is american darbuka
