@TheAndrewci he had it made into a Group. design one step, right click it then select Group. Group allows you to have multiple copies of that one design saving you time. if you want to edit a Grouped object, simply double click it and a gray border box will appear allowing you to modify it. click outside the gray box and now all the other 'copies' will look exactly like the previous Grouped object you just edited.

There's a little mistake bro..

you should did the pushpull tools at 3:42 from the bottom not from the top of the thread.. so the first step of staircase thread will not too close to the floor..

just re-check about it..

example y if you make a copy from a box, after yo make this copy you write x2 y if you want to make one extra copy, if you wanna make three extra copy, then you write x3 after make the first copy!

Although it is wrong the term "snail stairs", he called it that way because in spanish the name for spiral stairs is "escaleras de caracol". Escaleras = Stairs.... Caracol = Snail.

Excellent video and I learn a lot just by watching, but I guess like me a lot of novice users will watch this and many of the other great sketchup tutorials and think what did they press.

Maybe during the editing of the video you could put the functions you used. Make it more user friendly. This is just a suggestion so please don't take offence.

when u are drawing faces in sketchup. sketchup have 2 faces, the back faces and the right faces, i read some tutorial and u always needs to use thi right faces..good luck!

whit rotate tool, u are going to rotate this part of the stairs, but you have to use ctrl tab, to make a copy and not just move this part! good luck!
