This band belongs up there right next to Iron Maiden in terms of fame and praise. (Higher, even)

But that requires subjecting them to the mindless masses that make up a big portion of Maiden's (or any well-known band's) fanbase. Idiotic fans are something that Manilla Road does not deserve.
