  • Thank you for the video, I wish this was around when I was taking ASL in college. It was a complete "submersion class" which was almost impossible for me. Can you do an emergency medicine video for paramedics/EMTs so we can use this in the streets. Thank you very much =)

  • Hi, My name is Ashley. Do you have any recommendation's for teaching a 2 yr old with speech delay?

  • I was in Sp.ed from first to 8th grade I taught myself sign, or either I picked it up from the deaf people, not sure the teachers noticed if i can pick up on something like that I must not be SP.ED I was taken out in 8th grade and I taught myself everything via youtube and books and I graduated just last year now I am in college.

  • this is amazing. its helped me so much!

  • Good signing but I didn't really learn anything. In my opinion it was too fast with too much.

  • I cant concentrate on what you are teaching, you are to cute to pay attention to anything else

  • wow she so hot lol

  • I have a few questions. How do you say Feel?

People never use words such like Is or Are? And is there any specific sign for people's names? I mean, my name's Florence, do I have a sign or something? Thank you, your videos are really helpful!

  • I have a question. To say 'Thats wonderful' would you sign 'Thats' or just wonderful?

  • -Great videos :D

-Could you pleeeease put the words that you teach, in each video, in the description???

    *Hugs*

  • Thank you for these great videos, I plan on taking ASL in college and hoping to one day adopt a deaf child (: Their culture fascinates me! I will definitely be watching all of these and studying! (: Cant wait! Thank you!

    (wishes.causes.com/wishes/400572?bws=fb_event_description)

  • @aderi9 Fabulous! All of my friends speak fluently because it's a big culture in my school (we're pretty legit) Thanks so much! :D

  • If I'm left- handed does that mean that my left hand is my dominant had? Great video by the way.

  • @onbeyondzebrabydrs yes it does (:

  • That was really good. I'm trying to learn because I'm a paramedic and had a call where the patient was deaf. This will come in handy... especially the last bit.

  • love the video ... very helpfull thank keep it up! :)

  • i hope you post a lot of vids for asl because i moved to another school and they dont teach asl :(

  • i cant wait for you to post more videos!

  • Are you fully fluent? Your videos are amazingly helpful, most are too complicated and go to fast, but you take things at the perfect speed, give god direction, show the screen and viewers the sign from different angles, and you say helpful things for me to remember.

  • So amazingly helpful, I have learned 100 signs and counting from you, I hope to be fluent soon please add more soon they are amazingly helpful.

You might not know how much you have help me. The teaching method is amazing, the smile, the soft speaking voice, etc everything is perfect. Hopefully when you have time, please add more... 4,5,6...

It's impossible to say you are not won over...

  • @iloveasl1 Thanks! I am so glad it helped you with your class and test. that makes me happy! I will be adding more soon!

  • im taking asl for a langugage class in highschool and i already know the most in my class

  • @gigglehead24 SWEET! that's awesome :)

  • hey, thanks this was really helpful(: may i know what is the difference between the words different and but?

  • Ugh! If you're gonna teach teach properly! The sign "white" is actually the sign for "like"!

  • @Bayfree102 Although I see where you are coming from, the way I signed "white" is correct. The signs "white" and "like" do look very similar. The difference is, with "white", all your fingers meet together when you pull your hand away from your chest. For the word "like," only your thumb and middle fingers meet together after you pull your hand away. Hope this clears up your confusion! :)

  • This is really great! I like the fact that you kinda explain why a sign means what it means. It helps me remember better and makes sense.

  • @This1sS0Stup1d Awesome! Thanks! :)

  • Thank you so much for your instruction videos! I love how you use easy to remember references for some of the signs. I work with special needs student, some are non-verbal, and I am determined to learn sign to make communication easier. I used to know the basics when I was very young, but if you don't use it you lose it. I know you made these a few years ago, but if you find the time to make some more, I would love to learn more.

  • This is a really great video! I've always wanted to learn and I am picking up a lot from you and the expert village lady lol. I am running for president in 2052 and would love to connect with another demographic of American people. :)

  • Hello!

I wanted to let you to know that some of your signs is error, as well I'm deaf and do know what signs isn't right.. Just want to let you know so I don't think anyone actually told you that your signs not correctly, but not all but overrall of it is all good.

  • @xx1ShortiexCHiiCKx3 Do you mind telling me which signs are wrong so I know for future reference? Thanks! Also, keep in mind that there are regional differences in signs, so that may be a part of the discrepancy. I am signing the signs the way that my deaf professor at my college taught me, but if they are wrong, I am glad to know so I can sign them the right way :)

  • Awesome video :) Thanks. Some of your signs are different from other signs I've learned. Where did you learn ASL?

  • @ashleighjayxo at 1:37 its no and at 3:35 its know.
