  • 1:05 SHIT =)

  • Awh! Very strong Cute.

  • Love Robins, nice video.

  • Very nice! likeit

  • How can anyone not recognise a robin for haven'ts sake? I'm no twitcher but even I recognise his red breast. Any one who's received a Christmas card- even the Americans- can surely spot one.

Some people leaving comments to the contrary are hard of thinking.

  • This is not the kind of robin we see in america. The robin we see in america looks different because it is a kind of thrush.

  • @mario2000595 The American Robin and European Robin are both thrushes, however they are of different genuses. Our American Robin is closely related to the Eurasian Blackbird (genus Turdus).

  • i dont think thats a robin...

  • @jshamwow It is a European Robin

  • I'd love to visit Ireland some day...

  • This doesn't look like the robins around Iowa at all! Ours are much more orange/red in the chest.

  • hey, can i use this audio file for my assingment on an animation? :) it's college work.. tq pls rply ^^

  • Hi there. This is lovely footage. Would it be ok if I use some of it for my Birdwatching for Beginners DVD project for university please? Many thanks.

  • What camera did you use ?

  • @GerrG01 It is the Canon XM2 (with the final video rendered in 720p)

  • @SeanWrenn Cheers Sean. That's a cracking video with good sound and picture. The zoom allows you to capture and keep your distance.

  • Thats the strangest looking and sounding Robin I ever done saw-heard.

  • funny how people think of birds as "singing" when they are actually talking with a decent vocabulary

  • Nice to hear these early in the morning and they are very cute too.

  • Great video of a lovely bird, 10 out of 10 to the little robin for a lovely song :)

  • Ahh, this bird looks like the bird I shot that one time because it wouldn't SHUT THE FUCK UP!

  • "My name is Robin. Like Robin Hood!" - this is my favorite joke I have when I introduce myself. =))

  • it looks sad

  • @missdeviance This is the European Robin. So this is not just a robin in Ireland

  • @missdeviance No this is not a blue bird, even in the US. Its back feathers and wings are not blue in the slightest.

  • @midwestviking777 The American and European robins have different colouring. Wiki it

  • @midwestviking777 burn.

  • @midwestviking777 insulting people is not the best way to comunicate.

  • @midwestviking777 That *is* a robin, idiot. And a lovely audio recording of one, too.

  • @midwestviking777 It is hard for me to imagine a bird which looks more robin like than this! You are getting it confused with a different species: the American Robin, which isn't actually a robin relative. It is more closely related to the blackbird.

  • @midwestviking777

Ur stupid. Dont u have any culture in your life?

  • @midwestviking777 When are you going to delete your stupid comment?

  • @midwestviking777 This is a European Robin that we see evry day in the UK, it is compelatly different to the American Robin that you see evry day in the US.

    NAncy

  • Nice handycam u got there.Great focusing.Nikon?

  • @aguilonmontenegro Thanks, It's a Canon XM2

  • Beautiful, we don't have these in the US

  • @sjlove2bird

What state are you from? I'm in Illinois and Robins are the most common bird we have. Never seen a U.K. robin before. Its rather cute, and the singing just as beautiful. : )

  • @iamsparklelicous California, we have lots of them too but they are greyer, and I think their dialect is not quite as nice as the song that the Eastern ones sing. My fat, green, little Jardine's parrot does an outstanding imitation of a Robin song.

  • This bird is so poetically beautiful!

  • ahhh, these are the dam birds waking me up at 5am LOL. I really do love robins

  • @MadHobbit i doubt it is these flycatcher robins that wake you ,, it is likely the american robin (is a thrush ,,they sound awesome in morning)

  • A bird may be known by its song... Wonderful song.... Thank You!

  • what a great awakening...it will surely be an amazing day...thx Kari 4 sharing..see ya♫

  • if you try mimicking the song of the robin it will sing a little louder and use different tones and sequences. although i cant mimick that good i have found that it works

  • Your robins are so much different than the ones we have here at home. Very cute :)

  • Thanks! Must be different species of robin? i guess?

  • amazing

  • Wonderful!

  • Wonderful! What a chance!

  • Robins are my favourite birds. i love them. thanks for the upload.

  • correction, after viewin' some other vids, this bird is a Robin redbreast, totally different from the American Robin, sorry!=P

  • Hey, no worries! Thinking now i probably should have put that in the title

  • Hmmmmm....here in the Americas we call that bird a bluebird, a robin, a totally diff'rent bird; but i have to admit, in diff'rent regions they're called diff'rently, anyways 5 stars SeanWrenn!
