For everybody who doesn't know, the true title of this song is "Fireflies" it's by an artist known as Jabup. So for all the millions of view this song got for being daft punk, look up "Fireflies Jabup" on here and give the true creator the respect that they deserve.

"forthcoming 'Tron' remake," it's not a fucking remake, it's a sequel. I can't believe anyone who knows anything about Tron could think it is a remake. For one it is called Tron Legacy, not Tron but for another, the trailers even reference things from the past, ie. things from TRON.

It's interesting how important music is based on where it's coming from. Many, many people thought this was new DP, got super pumped, only to find out that it's not. The song goes from being amazing to almost nothing. Would anyone really care about this song if they hadn't thought it was DP? and how mnay people liked it a lot at first only to hate it later? Why does good music have to depend on the artist?

yea i think ppl can spot fakes but i think this one was a little more misleading then most because any anomaly in this song could be easily attributed to the fact that daft punk is making the score for a movie, so a person would have a harder time judging if the difference was because it's from another artist entirely or because daft punk is making a movie score that could likely cause some slight change in direction.
