I have had my yp-k3 for more than 4 years (bought in June 2007) and i must admit its still one of the best mp3 players i have ever held in my hands. The design is perfect and the sound is brilliant. Battery life is also incredible - about 20 hours., even after 4-years usage. And in the end, the control is very simple and sweet :)

I had one of these, it was awesome until the touch controls died. Which allowed me to return it for a 2nd gen ipod nano at the time. i do miss this one though.

Ipods are total crap. Owned 6 of them over the years and every one except the nano died within a year. Typical of Apple garbage. This little player spanks the Ipods ass thoroughly. Just look at the eq section. Eat your heat out Ipod fanboys. :)

headphone extension is standart. Like in older products (1998-2002 years).

Anyone know how to downgrade? All normal attempts fail, and the tcctool method is poorly explained bullshit. I'm trying to go from 4.10 to any other firmware version. I didn't buy pay 200 bucks for a USB device. I just want it back to normal. Can someone help?

misfitjustice if you have 4.10 firmware you cant downgrade to any older version, just 4.10 or other new

yea i found out, but can you buy the USB cable in stores? cuz i dont have one. lol i was actually lucky enough find one just lying on the floor right in front of me XD. anyway i cant charge it without the USB Cable so do you know where i can get one?

For text you have to upgrade to firmware version 4.06 or 4.10

it locks on its own..

and it sometimes plays a different song when i manually choose one..sometimes..but still..

There should be an eject button on the column along the right side of your computer at the bottom,it usually will have a "tray" with an arrow on it,click that and then you can eject.
