I adore Dunfords Gavioli it has such quality sound to it and always looks very clean and free from grime and dust which is something these organ facades and figures collect very easily.
I assume the cuts to the engines in-between organs were to prevent the nuisance of one tune/organ suddenly turning into another one, without any warning or musicality. Nice touch.
What an unusual facade, with the rotating brass columns. Lovely stuff.

Takes me back to when i helped run a showmans engine at night, at the Great Dorset Steam Fair. As i lived abouy 30 miles away.

The first organ was an Ex Barrel Organ and was the first gavioli imported to Great Britan by Chippa Ltd.
