We just spent 5 days searchin' everywhere for my grandson's pit "Stranger". So I put my grandson's jacket out on the porch.......someone had Stranger tied up. We came back an hour later & there he was layin' on that jacket. You could see the marks on his head & neck where he had pulled out of the collar...Pits are smart & loyal....So sorry 'bout yor "Hannibal"!

It's really unfortunate your lack of knowledge led to your dog being shot. ANY dog, including Pits, can make amazing pets given the proper training and obedience as a puppy, This dog's death has absolutely nothing to do with his breed. Responsibility falls completely on the owner. The fact that you named him 'hanibal' in the first place only perpetuates the negative stereotypes pits get, and makes me wonder your intentions. I hope if you ever own another animal, that you better educate yourself.
thats just so sad i hated that dog but i didn't want it to die i was just mad cuz it was the only thing stoping me and brandon being together at his house cuz that dog was mean but i'm an animal lover i could never of wished that on him
