Yo, you know if you learn how to use the "note repeat" function and assign it !/8th or 1/4 notes the hats are going to be on beat. you can do the same for the kicks and snares.

Hey, don't listen to the typical negative crap from the simple-minded, chauvinistic haters that swarm on YouTube.

As an X-owner of the same MPC, I can tell you it's a lovely machine & worth the effort.

I recommend the current firmware available from Roger Linn which gets rid of the one-shot sample limitation (where the sample plays through rather than stopping after you take your finger off the pad.) If you sample breaks or phrases, this is essential for a fluid feel.
