@dokecop - Well, I knew I could charge the building. The problem was that my opponent said that only 3 of my guys would be able to fight against his 10, and that my guys would no longer have a 2+ save because they would have to dismount to fight in the building. So, it didn't seem worth it.

also if he was shooting u with 60 bolts a turn thats bs cause the third rank cant shoot its not a bow and arrow and horde rules dont apply here.so it shoulda been 40 bolts a turn
Dude cav can charge buildings now! Tho they can't occupy it. They have some special rules when doing it tho that i can't remember off the top of my head =P Check your rulebook also isn't there a max cap on the amount of models in a building?
This battle was awesome but I think that you guys missed a couple stuff. First of all your knights could charge and attack the watchtower and can occupy it. If they charge and fight the spearmen who are already inside then they actually fight from the outside through the windows and doors - and stay mounted. They can get off their horses and occupy the build but then they would lose the +2 armor save. Also the watchtower is not only who's in it but who's closest at the end like 40k objectives

Too bad Bitten didn't know about being able to charge the building. I think he'll feel better about Watchtower scenario knowing that.

there is a limit to number who can start in the building (20), otherwise an unlimited number can go inside.
ya the cav could have totally charged and then camp next to the building.
