Liyah is from a completely diff time period aswell. Mya is great but she looks like Janet Jackson jr to me CiCi is good too but her dance moves become repetitive after a while & Beyonce has rhythm but her dancers dance just as good as she does, and overall she just shakes her hips.
If you watch Aaliyah and then look at her back up dancers, they tend to struggle with the choreography & not look as graceful as opposed to the other girls. Her moves were really intricate and precise not everyone can master it.
Out of all these performers Aaliyah was the pioneer (she started the moves these ladies are now doing). Ciara is a real dancer. She doesn't need a chorographer teaching her how to perform in front of a audience. Mya and Beyonce don't belong in this battle. They look good in their videos but in person, their backup dancers were just as good, if not better. That is what separate these ladies from each other. I think Beyonce has better moves than Ciara :) Ciara has the same moves and she looks kinda strange doing them because she's usually taller than the dancers around her. Beyonce brings massive amounts of energy to her dancing and she looks sexy doing it. Ive never actually seen Mya dance til this vid. She's really good. In saying that, Aaliyah moves in a way that looks effortless, but so slick.

Aaliyah is my all x favorite, she had a swagga about her moves that appeared effortless. They're all really amazing dancers. But as a white girl, the thing I find most memorizing about watching a black girl dance is how she moves that booty! So Beyonce wins hands down for me. The other's are just too skinny!

I think Mya and Aaliyah really capture the art of dance out of the four. It's not all about the backbends and booty popping (though those moves are fun lol)

I would not compare Aaliyah with none of them. Beyonce and Ciara I will compare. Aaliyah is on a different level. I'm not a big fan of Beyonce but that chick can dance and Ciara. I dont know kind of hard.

im sorry but the way aalliyah dances always gets to me she moves so softly but looks so good & she looks like when she does her thing its like effortless do you realize that all the rest of the girls go really REALLY hard when they are dancing? but then if you rewind back to aalliyah shes not like jerking w. her moves shes just swiftly & softly moving along sorry igotta go w. aaliyah on this one dont get me wrong tho these girls are pretty much the best dancers to grace the music industry period

I think Beyonce has better moves than Ciara :) Ciara has the same moves and she looks kinda strange doing them because she's usually taller than the dancers around her. Beyonce brings massive amounts of energy to her dancing and she looks sexy doing it. Ive never actually seen Mya dance til this vid. She's really good. In saying that, Aaliyah moves in a way that looks effortless, but so slick.

Just because people are saying Beyonce can't dance does not mean they are "crazy" maybe they just don't agree with her moves. Maybe they have seen better dancing or can do better dancing themselves, lol. Personally I don't think bbeyonce can dance. I actually think she did the worst in this video. The other videos as well. Her dancing looks too simple and it looks dull. It looks like 2468 moves, lol.

Aaliyah is my all x favorite, she had a swagga about her moves that appeared effortless. Her dance moves were always intricate n she tackled em gracefully...Mya is clearly a dancer but she never possesed star quality...Ciara is another 1 of my favs. She moves like the girls on the block n reminds me of my neighborhood, she def has swagger andher own style...Beyonce is great but she is not a dancer, she can perform and she's always sexy and beautiful, but she learly is not a dancer.

Mya is kinda very broadyway like Janet and Micheal..She is like a street dancer like Aaliyah and Ciara mixed with some theatrical moves..she was always underrated far as a total artist.But thank u for makjing the video maybe ppl will start to appreciate her moves now..

Mya does have the best technique.. she doesnt mark her steps and it seems like shes enjoying it everytime she dances. as far as her movements go she needs to be bit sharper and more edgy to hit Janet status

Mya was on her way. Whoa, Case of The Ex, and Lady Marmalade were her biggest hits, (she could pursued her career harder from there but... she didn't)
Not just anybody can get to where Beyonce is. Beyonce worked her ass off to get where she is (7 albums, 7 movies, 5 tours, etc.) that's alot of work! You can't be lazy, and expect to be where she is. (And it takes more than just looks and nice dance moves).
I know Mya was a good entertainer she could have made it...but slacked.

They're all really amazing dancers. But as a white girl, the thing I find most memorizing about watching a black girl dance is how she moves that booty! So Beyonce wins hands down for me. The other's are just too skinny!

Id have to give this to Mya...The rest are good dont get me wrong, but mya is the most versatile dancer in this video, she can do hip hop, tap, ballet and so on. Which gives her the edge over the otha 3 ladies, but all of em are natural daners tho. Ciara=Street, Aaliyah=hip hop, Mya=Versatile, Beyonce=Real good at Choreography.

- Beyonce and Aaliyah are the BEST SINGERS out the group (R.I.P.Aaliyah)
- Beyonce's dance skills are more Drillteam dancelike. Aaliyah's dancing is like sexy and smooth. Ciara is a natural dancer. She probably can dance to anything. Mya is a great dancer as well.
- Overall Beyonce is my fav then Aaliyah but in this video Ciara wins the dance competition

I never said she couldn't dance or wasn't a dancer. I said she was better at singing than dancing. She was smooth and her dancing was too. She always made it look like a groove rather than choreography that looks easy to do. She made everything look effortless, but I do still love the way she dances and sings.
