@RobCardIV a very long time because one acceleration as you heard could accelerate from 40,00 miles per hour to 100,000 miles per hour so you dont need alot. One thrust of this and you could go far. They are gonna start using this for spacecraft use.

Really cool video. My Physics teacher in high school told us about plama a bit and did the whole "match in the microwave" trick. But he never really took us into the subject that much. Plasma is 'electrical/magnetic' which means it is not matter, and is not energy although it resembles both matter and energy.
