Their relationship is very subtle & underplayed. That's part of what makes it so real... they're both "damaged", so they can understand each other.

Mukuro is an amazing character (she's my favorite female char from the show).

The scene where she's standing naked before Hiei when he's semi-concious. It's a really moving scene, because both characters are totally vulnerable.

When Hiei destroys the chains- he sets her free, just like when she gave him the stone.
