actually bob kane didn't make batman out of his own idea. the editor of detective comics saw the success superman is bringing in for action comics and he went to kane and said Kane we need a superhero for detective comics.

if you saw the spiderman 4 interview with stan lee, stan says he was friends with bob. when the first batman movie debuted in the 80s on screen bob would rub it in how batman was bringing in the dough in the box office, stan couldn't show off spideys success back since kane has long since passed away.
