  • I hope someone can add the vocals. Because, this is the complete unedited version of the backing track. It would be so awesome if this song was finally heard in it's complete unedited form timing of 3:08 down to the last "bunin', burnin', burnin'".

  • The Funk bros. were great on all Motown music but it just seem like they went wild on Martha and the Vandellas music maybe it is just me

  • did the band have producers or did they come up with most of the melodies on their own.

  • C'mon now,,don't forget .... Papa Joe Hunter on piano.. that's bangin!!!

  • Shout out for the baritone sax player, the late Andrew "Mike" Terry

  • the music is so high quality, it is incredible.

  • Groovin' and funky, this song drives me crazy". Heatwave" is the Motown machine at its very best! I LOVE MOTOWN!

  • I think im gonna test my rapping skills and just hop on this one

  • Damn James was the best hands down

  • Martha, Annette and Rosalind made it something even better, of course, but this instrumental version proves that, even before they got on microphones, "Heat Wave" was a first-rate BAND record too. Stevie's "Fingertips" was seven weeks ahead of "Heat Wave," so his was officially the first Motown record I ever bought (I was 9), but this was next.

  • still can't believe that he made all of the Motown bass licks on ONE FUCKIN' FINGER!!!! HE HAD THE FINGER OF GOD!!

  • Mike Terry blasting out his signature baritone licks...this is MOTOWN magic!

  • Pistol Allen laying down the incredible backbeat.

  • autopliot this forever

  • What a tamborine

  • THIS IS AWESOME!!!

    they were the motown machine!!!

more number one hits then any other group

  • I agree. I can't think of another group of studio musicians that made so much good music so well.

  • This shit is bangin'. I just love old school. Being part old school and new school though, I must say that old school is the best school. They don't make shit like this anymore. Most of today's songs suck.

  • @naughtykitten28 As does your language, young fella me lad, I agree with what you say, but not how you say it, .Pax to all from 'SoulBoy' Smith.Xxx.

  • This is one top instrumental coming from the vaults of Motown...fantastic,.ktf.
