Pokemon the Movie was EPIC.

As a 90's kid, I can't think of a single kids film that tops the roar and craziness that surrounded this one; around school, the neighborhood kids, every one of my cousins -- were psyched psyched psyched to see it. It was a HUGE deal when that movie came out. The Disney films did their thing of course, but that excitement happened 'after' the movies made it onto the screen. When a trailer for that first Pokemon movie was shown, the floodgates were opened.

Have you ever noticed in Hayou Miyazaki's films he uses the same character designs for different movies? I don't really care though I love his movies :) I mean, Princess Mononoke was the first anime I ever saw back when I was 11. It kind of started my whole giant collection (Seen over 300 anime and own over 400.)
