  • Thanks Larry. Very informative videos. I just made a grow light set up today, came in and watched one of your videos and guess what You were talking about the need for an adjustable light so the plants didn't get leggy. You were reading my mind. Again, thanks. Envelope on it's way.

  • @4kedhorn Great!!! Yes that is a mistake that alot of people make is the light is to far away! Keep it close for best results!!! Good Luck Larry

  • I was about to pass on this one. But if it attracts pollenizers, then OK.

  • @KEPoles Oh yes and hummingbirds love them!

  • Thanks!!!

  • Really terrific idea, they are beautiful plants when fully grown. kudos.

  • At first I thought I didn't need tobacco, but when you mentioned hummingbirds I yelled Eureka! Feel sorry for the HBrds looking for food. It's hot and extremely dry here. Thanks!

  • @isabstmr My pleasure!!!

  • thanks for the offer! how awesome are you! I have no idea what to use tobacco for though- i just found you and plan on watching ALL of your awesome vids!

  • @angelic808 Use the tobacco to barter with! to attract hummingbirds! they love the flowers! Thanks and enjoy the video's Larry

  • Hummingbird moths also love them and believe it or not, are actually tobacco's primary pollinator and their larvae also need the leaves to feed on, but most who grow tobacco want those leaves, so the hornworms usually get the shaft.

  • @CombineWizard Have had no hornworms at all!

  • @larrylhall WOW!

  • @CombineWizard Lucky i quess!

  • @larrylhall Maybe they don't like Minnesota!!! ha Ha

  • Thanks for the offer.

    you're a good man larry :)

  • @MrBuckwilliam don't know what the laws are about sending tobacco seeds to canada! check into it and let me know?

  • I'm mailing SASE and including a few extra stamps to use for those who will FORGET to send you the return stamp! : ) I've been purchasing expensive organic cigs for years. Ready to quit now but am a new gardner and would love to grow tobacco! Also sharing some seeds w/ local experienced gardeners. We have SO many new home gardeners here in Central Fla!!! Thanks for adding the links for info. This is an exciting new adventure for me!!!

  • @skay7878 Well that is very nice of you! Thanks! keep me posted on the tobacco growing! Tell them new gardeners that they need to try building some of my self watering rain gutter grow systems! Love to see how they would work in Florida! Thanks again Larry

  • I don't smoke..and I am Canadian..but HOw Woderfully NICE of you!

  • @TheMrsVolfie Welll thank you

  • I took a few side roads near Stoughton, Wisconsin this past Fall. I found a barn full of hanging tobacco. I always thought it was a crop of the south. Stoughton is a bit south of you. I'll be growing it about even with your climate. Envelope on the way. Thanks Larry for your generosity!

  • @SleestaksRule My pleasure!!! Enjoy!!! Yes i have a friend in Wisconsin who raises lots of tobacco!!

  • I would love to grow some just for the large leaves you've shown from them, and the humming bird factor. I may even give some to my brother that smokes, he would love to at least try to grow them. Thanks and I'll be sending in my request with the self address envelope. Great guy!

  • @2Bibleppl Enjoy!!! You are welcome!

  • Larry, we would certainly make use of some seeds.

  • @usframe That is great! Thank you!

  • Thank you very, for the seed and the links. I don't smoke but I do use it to worm my animals and some of my family smokes (good trade lol)

  • @radiowoman528 My pleasure!!!

  • Awww ... What a nice gift for someone who has enough land. I live in a mobile home park in San Antonio, Texas, and our lots are extremely small. I'm going to share this with BexarPrepper and see if she's interested.

  • @MyFreedomChannel I would talk to a farmer like i did ! they gave me a little spot and i put in a little garden for them! Bet if you put on craigslist will share free tabacco with you for use of your land your phone would ring off the hook!

  • Larry, I really appreciate that your going to do this, cant wait to grow some good old Virginia tobacco. I'll sent you some heirlooms as a thank you, take care.

  • @keith19692 Well thank you!

  • Nice of you to give it away... Do you sell your tobacco too?

  • @GrowSomethingGreen You can sell tobacco seeds and plants but not finished tobacco!

  • We kinda are neighbors Larry. My brother and I live N.E. North Dakota. I'd like to start and grow some of those tobacco plants in my yard. But I am really thinking of giving the majority of the seeds to my friend and her husband to grow in the country. Her husband experienced the same problem with tobacco costs as you but all he did was suck it up and pay more and bitch more. I did email your video to them. My friend does all their veg. gardening but maybe growing tobacco would peak his interest

  • @apaulanariusI think it is totally crazy to pay high prices for tobacco that is loaded with over 250 chemical when you can raise your own organic tobacco!!! When tobacco prices went threw the roof I got mad really mad and that was 3 years ago that I starting raising tobacco. Now It was the best thing that ever happened to me!!! There is a satisfaction like no other a sense of independence that you experience when you grow and smoke your own tobacco!!! it is my own personal revolution!

  • Larry that is a very smart idea. It may bring some bees back to the area's also. The humming birds love the flowers and so do I!.They are beautiful!

  • @37crackerjack Thanks yes you are right on!!!

  • Thanks Larry. Your informative videos are the true gifts. The seeds are just a bonus.

  • @apaulanarius My pleasure i love doing it!!! If you lived next door i'd give you free tomatoes! So what the heck at least this way i can give back to great people!

  • Oh, you know I'll be on top of this ;)

  • @racekitty Way to go!!!!!
