  • i really dont get the new builfing system, can someone tell me how it works?

  • @jasim1996 - I don't really get it either. No one can really tell you, though. The best you can do is open Europa Barbarorum on TWCenter, and find the information about it.

But even that doesn't help that much. But when you look at it from outside of the game, it's really not all that confusing.

  • @jasim1996 - I recommend making a list on your own piece of paper, of the different building supergroups.

Like Government, Military, Trade, Food, and Travel, etc.. And just take your time in the game getting familiar with the system, using a check list with that list I recommend. "Does this province have a building of this type? What building does this province need? Which government style would suit this province best? etc..."

  • lol to be fair one egypt fags chanell says hes in egypt two living somewere dont mean jack currently i live in texas i have been for a year or two and i know jack shit about it so it doesent matter were you live and also its not hard to get a pick of a sparten sword in a museum from the internet so i did a little trolling and well the artists didnt mess with it that much

  • did you actually say, " thats the kind of sword from the movie 300....traditional greek balde??" are you actually fucking retarded?

  • @Egyptair69 - Whose retarded. The Sword is called a Kopis. I might not have known the specific name of the weapon at the time, but that's what it is known as. It's very similar to the Iberian falcata. It's a more common weapon for cavalry though. Hoplites preferred use of the xiphos.

  • @FrederichSchulz congratulations wikipedia is an amazing tool isnt it? i did not ask for a fucking lesson on ancient weapons, i said that you are retarded for relating anything "historically accurate" too one of the most BS movies of all time, and im pretty sure the swords used in the movie 300 werent used anywhere in the world, they are some fantasy shit.

  • @Egyptair69 - You are incorrect. The swords used in 300 were based on historic weapons (granted they have artistic freedom to alter the design, while maintaining the weapon it is). Are you one of those people that think, because it's a movie, that's it's entirely fictional? That's a problem I see in a lot of people. You just lack the ability to discern fact from fiction, it appears.

  • @FrederichSchulz well no shit you just undermined your entire argument, "artistic freedom" meaning they fucking changed the whole fucking appearnce of the fucking sword , therefore it looks nothing like a the sword that was actually used, meaning its fantasy! and i never said its entirely fiction you fuckhead, I AM GREEK! I LIVE IN GREECE! i knew about this story before 300 was out, you actually think you know anything about Greece because you fucking read gay shit about swords on the internet?

  • @Egyptair69 - Wrong. The appearance may be slightly altered, but the sword remains fundamentally the same. Particularly the Hilt, and the Cutting edge. And here's a note: Just because you live in Greece, doesn't mean you know about Ancient Greek history and Culture better than someone who isn't Greece. Surely you know your modern history better, but that's irrelevant in this particular argument as Modern Greece is as significantly different from the Ancient world as the Isles of Britannia.

  • @FrederichSchulz wow this is a good looking mod... hectic

  • @Egyptair69 Wow you're fucking gay you Gayreek>...

  • @FrederichSchulz Yet one can't argue that there's a little too much artistic freedom in that movie(the recent one) :P

  • @Egyptair69 Someone is mad.

  • @Egyptair69 Rude. nuff said

  • just got this yesterday. SOOO much harder than vanilla

  • armenia never occupied=)

  • @FrederichSchulz, now Im quite sure you've gotten this question asked alot...so I apologize, but where does one install the mod, yes the 7100th time... and im really just looking for something new, I had installed ROMA Surrectum II and it's not have bad...a pretty good successor to RTW, it just im getting increasing pounded by the shit fags of Macedonia and it's getting rather tiresome...so im looking to uninstall that re-install this and hopefully do it "right" so I can still play RTW. thanks!

  • @carterboie123 - It installs directly into the RTW folder. Just make a backup copy of the folder so you can have both games.

  • @FrederichSchulz

When it said "The Roman Hydra" I think it meant to say that the Roman army was like a Hydra, destroying one army isn't enough cause' the Romans quickly replenished their armies due to their huge manpower. Pyrhus won some battles against them but that wasn't enough, Roma raised armies again quickly but for Pyrhuss that wasn't possible, 1-because he was abroad and 2. because Epirus didn't had the population of SPQR. But your interpretation makes sense too.

  • does anyone know what the difference is between the 1.1 version of this and the 1.2 version

  • @dominator1197 the 1.2 is a patch, meanign it fixes bugs etc.

  • can you still play the original version after installing this?????

  • @corkymcforky dont think so

  • @corkymcforky if you install it right you can

  • @corkymcforky yup

  • hey do you have to have rome total war for this?

  • @gameaddiction999 Yes. Otherwise it would be a game, and not a mod.

  • Brilliant beggining to this LP :D I hope the rest of it continues like this

  • Seleucus founded the Seleucid Empire and Baktria and Parthia are not as historical factions - they appeared after a massive revolt in the Seleucid Empire in I think 240 BC. Macedonia was founded by Perdikas I, but came to be the dominant force in Greece under Philip II, Alexander's father. The region of Pontus was never conquered by Alexander (just like Kapadocia). Epirus was never under Macedonian rule and it was led by Pyrrhus and he fought Carthage. ;)

Just some fine points on history. :)

  • @PyrrhosOfEpeiros Another fact to post. Pyrrhus was dead at the start of this Game's Campaign. And I was aware of Parthias existence, after the start date. And while Alexander never physically conquered Pontos, Pontos was under a Hellenistic leadership (But I think that had dissolved by the start of the game)

  • @FrederichSchulz Sorry if I seemed rude, I really ejoyed the video, but I thought I should point that out. In any case, I apologise.

Pyrrhus was not dead at the start of the campaign. He died in 272 BC, but it didn't happen in spring. Pontos didn't exist until 291 BC, until then the region traded many hands from the Persians (the region of Bythinia, Kappadokia and Paphlagonia was never conquered by Alex) to Antigonos to Lysimachos to Seleucos.

Btw, I really enjoy this Epeirot campaign. ;)

  • @PyrrhosOfEpeiros lol, not at all. I know he died in 272bce, just not what time of the year. SO I figured he woul be dead at the start. But whatever.

I also enjoy this campaign, since, I'm starting to get out of debt, and take on Roman military might.

  • @FrederichSchulz I have not watched all the parts yet (I've just found this, lol), but if you haven't already, I suggest doing what i usually do - conquer Pella, disband elephants (HUGE upkeep), conquer Greece (a piggy bank) and then you should be able to train your high end units to take on Rome and Carthage. ;)

These videos are so sweet also because I've never seen anyone do an Epeiros YT playthrough. ;)

  • @PyrrhosOfEpeiros I pretty much picked Epeiros at random, lol. But my strategy is different from yours. I kept my elephants and moved them to Magna Gracia, where they can be put to decent use. In fact, most of my army is in Magna Gracia. I have a slow income, and I'm going to use it to fortify the cities I have in Magna Gracia, while I send Pyrrhos and the elephants back to Greece.

  • where did get this games cause intrested in the total war after watchin ur video on game anyone

  • @TenTailsFox1 Google Europa Barbarorum and they have their own website with a free download.

  • awsome

  • @ajbman03 finish it

  • @ajbman03 I'll probably finish it. I just wont prioritize it.
