It's funny hearing Cedric sing live, though. On record he has such a controlled, compelling voice, and then live he can't hit a single note.

I think w/ time more folks will realize it was a hype, and that the band which was murdered on account of the TMV formation will stand the test of time and be praised for what Volta wish thay could be... Intense, out of the box and musically stunning.

So, Even though I don't really connect with the rock of today, I will say that ATDI changed my life sometime early in High School. I saw them at the Chain Reaction in like 1998/99 and had never felt so moved by music. I pledged my life to ATDI, and when the news came of their demise I was devestated.

Watching this vid of Quarantine is the type of stuff which will hopefully put this band down in rock history.

I wasn't trying to take any credit away from TMV I'm just saying ATDI was the best out of all 3 and Jim was a big part of the reason why. Now he just get ripped by TMV fans even though you never hear them giving him props for ATDI and Sparta. Seems like there is just much hatred towards him from TMV "fans" that he doesnt deserve.

How about opening for VR? You can't say that ATDI is great but then argue that 3/5 of its members are terrible. Besides I could care less who they have toured with. I enjoy TMV, I just don't see why everyone has to hate on Sparta. Just admit they are both great bands that don't equal the brillance of ATDI.
