Sparks are the lighter side of the humorous, brilliant music spectrum, sharing a music kinship with Frank Zappa, who explored its more complex and darker side. Can you imagine if these guys worked on each others music? The Maels would've shined on "Fifty Fifty", "Dancin' Fool", "Valley Girl", and even "Baby Don't You Want a Man like Me". FZ would have shined vocally on this song and "Eaten by The Monster of Love", while adding some scorching guitar to "When I'm With You" and "Beat The clock".
what I like the most about Ron and Russ are how nonchalant and confident they are with respect to their campiness...I also love how they aren't self-conscious about their emasciated bodies..best musical duo ever!

This song, Mustache and Suburban Homeboy are great songs. I don't know why more people haven't heard of them.

If there's anything more random than the song itself, it's a youtube 'enter your text here' over Ron's nipples.

Now I've not checked Wikipedia, but I'm pretty sure that's Keith Floyd refereeing...

any sort of nudity coming from the Maels is highly approved by me as well! :D Yay!

I once asked Russell in his fanzine back in 1997 if he would ever do a centrespread for an arty nude coffee table magazine, and he said 'yes'.

@fatpizzaman oh that shameless Russell! ;D
