  • would you mind making a tutorial?

  • well billy rapped all night 'bout his suicide, how hed kick it in the head when he was 25, speed jive dont wanna stay alive, when your 25. and wendys stealing clothes from marks and sparks. and freddys got spots from ripping off the stars from his face, funky little boat race. television man is crazy saying were juvinial delenquent wrecks; oh man, i need tv when i got T-rex. oh brother, you guessed, im a dude dad...

    :)

  • Loved your UFO years. Their best stuff.

  • @AMCKenA Thanks for your comment, but I'm not the same Mick Bolton that played guitar in UFO. You're not the first one to confuse us. Anyway, I'd rather be confused with him than with Michael Bolton!

    Mick

  • @mickbolton1 Oh well. I can understand the Michael part. I did buy his first record thinking perhaps UFO Mick had changed his name a bit, but it certainly wasn't him. Thanks again

  • Mr Bolton, thankyou for sharing this. What a great and colourful arrangement!

  • beautiful!!!

  • you are officially among my heros. beautiful .

  • Please send me the notes or make a tutorial

YOU PLAY IT SOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!!! xD

  • Mick, just a note to say thanks for being part of one of THE greatest bands in history. I love the original lineup, but kinda wish the gigs they are going to play could include subsequent members. They contributed much to the band. Rock 'N Roll was "invented" in America, but has always been played BEST by bands from England. Funny, that!

  • I think it's a mistake to call the members of 1969 only.

You, bender and fisher are a big side of MTH history. I hope they will invite you all.

btw I'll be there for both the evenings, if you'll come, keep in touch for a beer :-)

  • Hello, would like to know if you'll be play at the MTH reunion, 2,3 october 2009 :-) I hope to see you on the scene :-)

  • No, it will only be the original members of the band from 1969 - I joined them in 1973 after Verden Allen left. It should be a great concert. The last time I played with them was also at Hammersmith and it ended in a riot.

  • you've put tears in my eyes... my God, this song it's just TOO much!

  • If you take requests, would love to see a vid of you playing "Sucker" (the best MTH live number).

  • That will be a strange one to play on piano - especially the vocal lines, but I'll give it a try. I'm quite busy right now but I'll get round to it as soon as I can. Looking forward to the challenge!

  • Mr. Bolton, sir; thank you very much for this and for the memories of great music as well. All these years later and you've still got it! I wish I could still do what I was doing 35 years ago. Best wishes for many more.

  • Did you play Hymn for the Dudes live with Mott? Great memories, thankyou so much.

  • I played All The Young Dudes with them, but Hymn For The Dudes wasn't in the set when I was with them.

  • Hey Mick!

I love this song (also every other Mott & Dexy songs). You rock those keys like they're nothing, awesome.

    Cheers!

  • my god, you're the one who plaied on "live", the live album of Mott The Hoople!!! I got it!!

    you played the hammond right?

    congratulation!!!

    a fan from Lombardy

  • very nice arrangements :-)

    mott the hoople ROCKS!
