  • Hi hi! Have you considered intellectus diet (do a search on google for intellectus424dietcom)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my father lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • You need at least 1,000 calories a day.. your metabolism is what breaks down calories to lose weight you metabolism needs to keep runing fruit wond do... your not a health specialist... youll actually gain weight by doing this.. heres the tip you need to lose weight... make a tiime at night, dont eat past that time.. you body will burn more calories at a time when you are sleeping, if you get hungry 4 that "late night snack" drink water.. drink lots of water.. that makes you lose weight

  • @Hermetiqa I don't think there's anything wrong with eating healthy, nutrient-rich foods. Nor is there anything wrong with getting yourself back on track after a period of unhealthy eating without giving up or beating yourself up over it. There's nothing anti-science about advocating a diet rich in yummy whole fruit and veggies.

    There *is* something wrong with eating one fruit for several days in a row. Educate yourself before you spread pseudo-science nonsense. I am a vegetarian and I enjoy educating myself on Human dietary practices and by all PEER REVIEWED scientific accounts this mono-fruit diet is unhealthy.and 100% bogus science.

    Stop spreading lies and unhealthy falsehoods and start THINKING. Get your health information from fucking scientists not some air head on YouTube.

  • @Hermetiqa i agree with that... but, you drink milk? because if you also are into science you will know that there are HUNDREDS of better source of calcium XD. Iam vegan, but not for idiology but for bodybuilding belive it or not. Lentils wth rice, fruits, veggies and roots an you achieve with not to much food 100% of vitamins an minerals and more than 100 grams of protein and lots of carbs. I been building muscle really fast.

  • for cleaning your bowel the best fruit is kiwi. Is not only water but fiber you need.

  • I'm wondering, if I have a stomach ache due to eating too many fats .. can you still do a mono-fruit day after? Isn't that gonna cost trouble? That's always what I'm afraid of. To get even more stomach pains or cause damage.

  • What are the advantages of eating one type of fruit as opposed to different kinds of fruit? Do you know of any reaserch to support this?

  • @shmoolicous Your body needs to make certin enzymes to break down the different consitiuants of the food. Eating different types of food will work fine, just not as well.

  • many fruits are negative calorie foods. You can't survive by eating only negative calorie foods!

    There are no negative calorie foods.

  • @shmoolicous Yes there are. Look it up. Cold water is an example of a negative calorie food. It contains zero calories however your body uses energy to process it, including regulating the temperature which means you use calories/energy when you consume it but it doesn't contain any. Thus, negative calorie food.

  • @shmoolicous yeah thats right :P but ice cold water burns 8 calories per glass, which isn't much but it's true. It's because it cools your body down and your body has to warm up the water again but water has no calories so it goes negative. Your body just trying to get energy from it, but it doesn't work because your body is using more energy to warm it back up.

  • Thanks so much for this post. The holidays really sent me off track along with an overall stressful couple of weeks. As a result I broke out with acne all over my face after 6 months of raw food. This is such a wake up call and I will definitely try the mono fruit diet to reset myself. THANKS!!!

  • I made the mistake of just bananas once. Felt fine all day in the evening my stomach was not feeling the best. I thought it was because of how dense bananas are.

    Usually do mono fruit days when traveling nice and simple.

  • It was because your not supposed to do that . These clenses are ballony. No science suggests they are needed nor work.

  • eating more then half a pineapple makes my mouth bleed because of the protien digesting enzymes so in my opinion pineapple isnt a good one to eat alot of either

  • @hopesolofan18 omg really I always wondered why eating pineapple made my mouth hurt a lot. Everyone else seems to be ok with eating pineapple but my tongue hurts and gums hurts when I eat it :[

  • @makeupbynumbers You have to cut out the middle of the pineapple before you attempt to eat it. Alot of people don't know how to properly eat pineapples, so this causes a bit of mouth trouble.

  • @soulofflora well I never ate a pineapple that I cut myself, it was always at a potluck or someone else's house that had those precut pineapple trays...so I dont think it had to do with the middle not being cut out.

    try a different fruit like bananas. Pineapples are really acidic and hard on the teeth

  • Papaya? Really? Here in Hawaii, you can get 8 Papaya's for $2. If I eat more than 2 I totally regret it the next day. Super Diarrhea!
