My wife and I waited in line for about 5 hours and never made it to the blue gate. The rumor was that a generator failed and they weren't getting power to the metal detectors. But, my impression was that the gate guards unilaterally decided to just stop admitting people.
I am so sorry that this happened to so many. I had a ticket to the silver area and the security people were letting everyone into the area - no ticket required !
yes, she talked about it at length. didn't show a video but showed the picture her friend (I believe from AA) sent her as he stood outside the fence. it was from wednesday's show i believe.
