  • @lanagirl77 At an art store...

  • Thank you. I paint and I am moving to Hawaii in October on the 27th. I hope to meet you and other artists. My name is REBECCA and I am sharing this video with all my artist friends...big hugs.

  • I Love the way you show how to paint and mix the colors. I am just learning how to paint myself. I am just scared to try. I am ready I think!!

  • That's the only way youtube would let me post it

  • But if I mix my paint with tap water, my sun wont be bright.

  • nice

  • oh ya where do u buy your paint and brushes

  • I love your art.

    Gary Sachs

  • wow that is awsome

  • you are truly a visionary !! the ultra marine / manganese blue combo- brillant! My fifth grader is setting up her pallet just the way you instructed, and her painting looks remarkedly just like yours. Thanks

  • well, for first timers, or for someone who just wants to feel how`s to paint is very appropriate.

But if u truly love to paint like a pro, skip that & learn the meaning & use of things like sfumato, velatura, atmospheric perspective, use of grays, modeling, layered painting etc.

  • great work

  • haahah I LOVE LIQUID

  • not bad

  • You should try holding the brush at the end...it takes some practice but makes a huge difference. Also, if you don't make every color so saturated, then your sunsets will look more vibrant. Try using mostly subtle grays...this way the saturated colors will really glow. To get a wide array of grays, try mixing complementary colors and adding some white.

  • thank u

  • haha

my moms name is stephanie sachs

  • I thought it was the whole video and I was going to run it on the Blog for HawaiiArt (dot) com. My recommendation it to put the whole video up, and then offer "how to paint (something else) on your website at the end. Its a bummer to have the video drop out in the middle of the technique. Set your videos free! Ill keep an eye out for more from you.

  • WOW I see you're really trying hard to advertise your site.

  • We sell for Stephanie and love her art and her videos. Sorry for the spammy posts though.

  • Mahalos for the great content! This video is now playing on Hawaii Pictures (dot) com. Check the chat room on the bottom of the home page and feel free to embed it on your blog or site.
