since this was from 2 years ago, I am sure you have probably near perfected this, but I think that if you havent, I have a nice tip for ya. Try to make a heat wave effect that rises, it makes it look like an illusion just in case your pelican is a little sloppy.
@SuperSkilledGamer this was actually made more than 2 years ago, but I always enjoy good criticism! Your absolutely right about adding a slight distortion to the craft, and perhaps a similar gradient underneath the pelican to add a thrust effect on the grass! If I was working on a similar scene currently, I would certainly give that a shot, but since ive been at college, it has effectively killed most of my creativity, and I haven't had time to do much CGI work for the past two years!
Several Programs Modeled and animated in 3ds Max and composed with either Adobe Premere or sony Vegas, i dont remember wich I used, its been a while, they are both great programs.
pelican looked a little to small but other than that that was awsome

get boujou or syntheyes so you can do camera tracking. the camera shakyness wont be a problem then
