This works because he is using 100% pure water. When pure water is lowered below freezing point, it won't start the crystallization process unless it is disrupted in some way, by dropping a foreign object into it or shaking it as you see in this video.

Its called super cooling. Purified water or water with very few impurities can stay liquid below freezing temps, and if its disturbed it will instantly crystallize.

this is probably carbonated cause you can do this same thing with beers and coke and stuff by freeze the drink when it is closed for about 5 hours and then open it then you hit the top and because a large amount of carbon dioxide is released it instantly freezes

@CrankflipSundayProd No, my friend, the water is super cooled, usually bottled water is very clean, so its easy to super cool it below freezing point. Type in Super cooled water on you tube, or google, it will explain what it is if you dont know. You cant super cool regular tap water, because of its impurities. I think beer is the easiest to super cool, cuz its so pure.

That isnt a trick, its dry ice. Basically, when enough movement is put into it, it freezes because of the chemicals in it.

You will attempt it many times to get it :

Step 1 : Put the bottle into the refrigerator

Step 2 : Wait for the water to become a state where it is cold but has not frozen yet.

Step 3 : Take it out every 20/30 minutes and shake it.

You can keep trying and eventually, it will become instant ice
