its nothing but conditioning. plz try and understand the benefit. also,if you belive clinch wont happen in a real fight, you're very wrong. It should be trained, along with everything else WIng Tsun has to offer.
@Svemocn1Vidar No problem with conditioning, but train in our way.Clinch happens but not from us.We need to practice how to brake clinch and no how to do it.Clinch is something like grappling.I dont grapple ,i hit.
One should be open to different approach as well. There will be times when u can't hit. It happened to me not so long ago... I can understand your point, but Wing Chun is a complete fighting system,it also has grappling when needed. If you re-conquer the range for striking, sure,do it,but sometimes you simply can't.
@Svemocn1Vidar I agree that sometimes may not be possible but then u must train in bjj combine it with wing chun.Cause u go on others fields and for sure they are better! But i still believe that hard train make very rare to be forced to grapple. And i am not talking in ring or friendly sparring. In reality u do everything. If u get grapple u hit eyes ,neck, nuts, fingers whatever brake for a sec the grappler and continue with wing chun..
@Svemocn1Vidar I sparr with bjj friends and when i do mistake and play their game i loose! When i follow in the right way our principles i win..Antway openminded to be is good to get better..Nice to talk
very nice....your student wheels his hands and turns a bit to much with his elbows but time will fix that....good stuff. Are you still with Di-Si-Gung-Ting or did you stick with Si-Fu Emin after the slpit...?
truth be told I have respect for all of my Wing Tsun familiy, I have only known Si-Fu Emin and tradition dictates to stay with your Si-Fu...I am glad you didn't let their argument afect your love for this wonderful way of life...
