I think there should be an accessory like the ZAGGmate but has a hinge. The iPad would sit in a landscape case, serving as the screen as a, for example, laptop, which is attached to the physical keyboard on the bottom. The hinge allows for a closure mechanism allowing the case to fold like a laptop. The hinge could also boast a swivel point in which it would allow the iPad to turn 180 degrees and fold down allowing the iPad to be uses faceup without the keyboard, resulting in touch-use! :D

@cristohv It allows for much more intuitive interfaces. It is also better for certain applications, like grid-based games(Civlization, Plants vs. Zombies) then traditional point-and-click/arrow key interfaces.

Their are definitely areas in which a touch-screen interface trumps the traditional computer interface. The only true problem with touchscreen technology is that on-screen keyboards are hard to implement properly.

I like it, but it doesn't protect atleast 80% of the iPad. And the YooBao case is 99% better than this, because it's a one-piece. Check it out, you won't regret it. This case doesn't seem like a proper case. Imagine sitting in a mall. You whip it out, and start pulling an iPad out of something that looks like, well, an iPad. yeah but they have a physical ethernet incase their wireless ethernet finally fails on the customer not to mention the OPTION to install almost whatever ssd they want into the laptop as long as it fits ( true that some laptops require a 1.8" ssd instead of the typical 2.5"). just depends on the individual's needs. I have not used this so I cannot supply a review but an Apple BT keyboard sells for $69.00 US and a decent case sells for about $35.00 US so $100.00 for the product seems about right. Although I like my Apple BT keyboard it is hard to carry around. Just make an aluminum case for my keyboard that resembles this product, as there is no need to reinvent the wheel, so-to-speak.
