  • Lucky you didn't use a tripod at Burnley, it gets really busy at the down end of the platform.......where nobody ever gets on or off because the gate is at the other end. Funny aint it, I go to Japan and video with a tripod on some of the busiest stations in the world and as long as I keep out of the way they ignore me.

  • @Rocketboy1950 It's unbelievable!! Bureaucracy gone mad. Serveral Australian rail operators must think we all lack common sense. Mind you, Queensland Rail are very friendly. I set up the tripod at Roma St (with permission) and just had to pick it up every time a 6 car Gold Coast train arrived.

    The only time I've been pinged for taking photos was over here in Perth. I got a slight warning in the US for taking shots on public property. But any stations over there, no issues!
