@admooner Thanks!! The memory card was a 16 gig Card, and the card can actually hold 12 hours of pics if set to P5. I had mine set to P2 which is one picture every 2 seconds. The battery can only go for 2 hours, but I had mine plugged into the wall via HTC phone charger. The camera will work if its plugged into the wall. So That is how I overcame the battery issue. Happy you enjoyed the vid.
@stephenBquick sweet cheers for the response :) when you were charging the gopro was it through the skeleton housing or was it just charged whilst removed from the outer case? cheers
@BeltDrivenMadness Do a sunrise like I did. Set your camera for the highest quality, one picture every two seconds for about 3 hours. Each picture set to 0.05 seconds time length. Then render in 1080p.
@stephenBquick Rendering in 1080 is stupid, my camera isn't HD so it would degrade the picture and take longer to upload. Plus on highest quality it only records 1 hour on an 8gig card. I don't have the time to do a sunrise.
@BeltDrivenMadness I have a 16 Gig card and I used little more then half of its memory during the making of this time lapse. If your camera shoots 5 megapixel pics then 8 gigs will be enough for 3 hours. If it shoots more then 5 megapixels then down grade to 5. This was shot on 5 megapixels and just look at the quality!
@stephenBquick It doesn't take still shots, so there's no quality changing except for the video mode. I put it in video mode, and select time lapse from the menu. At highest quality I get like 1hr30, then for fine Q. I get 2 hrs then for normal I get 2hrs 40 mins, and Economy I get 5 hrs. Economy is 240P.
@BeltDrivenMadness So the Camera does the time lapses for you? You need pics at a set rate. Id recommend you get a GoPro (for more reasons other then time lapses) and skip the bullshit.
Just wondering how you overcame filling up the memory card and flatting out the battery in this clip with the gopro. Nice work!

@BeltDrivenMadness 2 seconds makes everything smoother. and 30 minutes isn't long enough bro. Make another one and shoot for at least 3 hours.
