really like Stephens report on China, iam Australian born chinese and find a grown man squeaking like that greatly irritating. Also watched Stephens report on Chinas Mega Rich
those reporters claiming that they were being followed by the secret police, deliberately targeted the sensitive religious matters, in a quite arrogant and reckless manner. Use your brain, Imagine what will happen if Chinese reporters going to the US are obsessed with filming the occupy wallstreet movement, will they make themselves cordially received by the US authorities?
@humenghu {1} I suspect from your name & your You Tube account you are a Chinaman ? Rather fancy you are not too educated in the ways & means of your typical western reporter though. His job is to enquire & reveal to his audience without fear or favor, the favor bit is somewhat questionable at times when it comes to the likes of The ABC & BBC but there are good balanced reporters in both organisations I must say. Mr. McDonell & his crew are examples of such balanced fellows.
@humenghu {2} You say that The ABC crew were arrogant & reckless, I'm sure to the discerning viewer it was The Chinese officials that were both arrogant & reckless in the extreme & they should think themselves damned lucky The ABC did not make an official complaint via The Australian Embassy in Beijing to The Government of China. These Chinese security chaps are as I said in my written commentary were rank amateurs, indeed I've seen Bulgarians that were less conspicuous & had more....
@BigDon62 oh did they not complain to the Australian or American Embassy? they should have complained obviously and maybe even vigorously protested , since they were apparently annoyed. what is the point of arguing with you, who even toke it as personally belitting. I was expressing my view on this shitty piece of news and before I engage myself in more unfruitfull arguings, I stop typing here.
@humenghu {1 of 3} By the sounds of the reporter he was not too perturbed by the actions of these Chinese officials & by the selection of keystone cop like music during the time they were exposed outside the hotel both Mr. McDonell & his crew thought the whole thing slightly amusing, but with serious overtones of course. As for the personal belittling you did ask me to use my brain that is a mild insult if not a belittling of me, always thought that a very silly comment for anyone to make....
@humenghu {2 of 3} as we all use our brains 24/7 in some form or another, with mixed results obviously. You seem to feel the subject of incompetent representatives of The Chinese State & religion either State backed or underground in China is shitty news, well we will have to agree to disagree on that. As for your comment regarding your engagement in unfruitful arguing, first you must plant a seed, then nurture it to growth before it can bear fruit.
@humenghu {3} intelligence on the job ! Mr. McDonell had a good idea the so called secret police would come out & play that day & come out & play they did but oh so terribly ! Like so many things in China, standards must improve if they are not only to continue to compete with The West but to also impress The West. Your comments about Chinese reporters going to America to film The Occupy Movement are laughable as The USG & it's servants would not care if reporters from China waved....
@humenghu {4} Chinese flags as they filmed that rabble, no one in authority thinks these occupiers are anything more than a small thorn in the side of everyone's body politic, they are an uncoordinated bunch that provide some comic light relief for many. I would however like to see how some of these Western fools would be treated by the incompetent so called Chinese secret police if they hopped on a plane to Beijing & went to occupy Tieneman Square for example, probalby be all flattened by....
@humenghu {5} tanks if history is any guide ! If your going to reply to this, please try to use your brain a little more thoughtfully than you did in your last post as unlike your belittling comment about mine, it has yet to even get out of first gear.

@humenghu {3 of 3} Thank you for at least attempting this, it is unfortunate for you that the fruits of your arguments were not born.
