@Teehee160 It just occurred to me -- comments on Beatles videos often say things like ''I want a time machine" or "I was born in the wrong decade", but while I have had those sentiments, our generation is fortunate in some ways. We have the luxury of the internet and YouTube, where we can look up Beatles stuff anytime, and view it as many times as we wish. We aren't stuck waiting for the next TV appearance, film, or song as it is produced; we can browse the Beatles' whole career in a day! : )

Aww, poor Paul. :( My stomach churns a bit just seeing how nauseous he looks. Must've been terrible. I know what it's like to try and carry on with a normal thing like a conversation when you're feeling very sick...it's torture.
i just noticed if you watch RIGHT as the video starts, paul kinda trembles and makes a face that looks like hes gonna throw up, then turns and look the other way for a second, like where the door probably is, and sighs like he's in pain. ive seen this video so may times and i just noticed that. awwww
And even though John and Paul did fight later on, which is devastating to me when I watch videos like this, they always were brothers. Family fight it's just a part of life. I'm just glad that they started to repair their relationship at the end of John's life.
@bladesofglory12 What people needed to realize is that their friendship was closer than anyone will ever know. I think they had a bond stronger even than brotherhood. Paul has said a quote somewhere along the lines of, "While John criticized me, he would slide his glasses down to the end of his nose and say, 'I love you,' and that's what I had to hold on to." He was saying that no matter how much they fought, in the end, they loved each other.

From 2:06-2:20..a good 12 seconds or so, you can see John devote all of his attention--if not his concern, to Paul. From the moment he realized something was wrong with Paul, he seemed to be only half-engaged in the interview. That's friendship. That's LOVE. That's The Beatles. <3<3<3
@Cozycriter Yah, I was totally thinking the same thing....he was conerned with why Paul was disengaging from the interview...which is a rare thing for Paul since he's always seemed to be the most friendly and accessible Beatle of the group. Sure John was always sort of the self-appointed 'leader' in these interview scenarios, but I honestly think Paul was always more suitable (and perhaps this is why his music had a more 'commercial' lean) for the PR end of the Beatles, so this is rare for him.
@DarkquestDeathhunter I think Paul's music had a "commercial lean" because that was his mentality & style..whereas John wasn't one to pull something out of thin air & write about it. He wrote from the heart on a deeply personal level, & didn't care about appealing to the masses. Love that boy. :) Paul seems very diplomatic during interviews & usually very talkative, so I see where he appears friendlier than the others. So odd when he's not saying much, but I love seeing John take charge, too. :)
just a few months ago..yoko came out and credited paul. with saving her marriage to john...she says when john was in LA and taking drugs and booze...paul came to see her in new york and asked what he could do to help..then paul flew to LA..met with john and told him to go back to yoko and how he could win her back..john listened to him ..and john and yoko reunited...

I find it funny when I think about how John was a father here. They all look so young. Julian was like, 7 , 8 months old? I find that slightly amusing.
When one of them is not feeling well (in this case Paul) it effects the rest of them in a very notable way. That rampart is not there, it doesn't flow. They need each other.
It must be amazing to be a Beatle, 4 guys who share between each other a different experience from the rest of the world, they must to be sure that they are all healthy, that's what John's doing with Paul in this video, it's like to say: Paul, we need you too, are you ok? We are a team of brothers, we all need each other.
All comments about how John and Paul are probably the cutest things in the entire world, and how Paul looks like a sex muffin even though he's about to puke, and how adorable it is to see John so wonderfully concerned about his friend, this does show a lot. Without Paul dominating every single question, it gives a lot of room for John to speak, but I noticed that George still was cut off and couldn't seem to get his opinion in. John kept cutting him off. Poor thing.

When John quietly asks Paul if he's alright the second time (around 2:14), Paul appears to reply by mouthing "no", and the clip ends just after that. I imagine John may have stopped the interview after Paul admitted he's not alright. Any version I've seen of this clip, always abruptly stops just as this one does.

From 2:06-2:20..a good 12 seconds or so, you can see John devote all of his attention--if not his concern, to Paul. From the moment he realized something was wrong with Paul, he seemed to be only half-engaged in the interview. That's friendship. That's LOVE. That's The Beatles. <3<3<3

@Cozycriter Yah, I was totally thinking the same thing....he was conerned with why Paul was disengaging from the interview...which is a rare thing for Paul since he's always seemed to be the most friendly and accessible Beatle of the group. Sure John was always sort of the self-appointed 'leader' in these interview scenarios, but I honestly think Paul was always more suitable (and perhaps this is why his music had a more 'commercial' lean) for the PR end of the Beatles, so this is rare for him.

@DarkquestDeathhunter I think Paul's music had a "commercial lean" because that was his mentality & style..whereas John wasn't one to pull something out of thin air & write about it. He wrote from the heart on a deeply personal level, & didn't care about appealing to the masses. Love that boy. :) Paul seems very diplomatic during interviews & usually very talkative, so I see where he appears friendlier than the others. So odd when he's not saying much, but I love seeing John take charge, too. :)

just a few months ago..yoko came out and credited paul. with saving her marriage to john...she says when john was in LA and taking drugs and booze...paul came to see her in new york and asked what he could do to help..then paul flew to LA..met with john and told him to go back to yoko and how he could win her back..john listened to him ..and john and yoko reunited...
it took yoko 37 years to tell this to the press...37 years....but she did and thanked paul publicly finally

All comments about how John and Paul are probably the cutest things in the entire world, and how Paul looks like a sex muffin even though he's about to puke, and how adorable it is to see John so wonderfully concerned about his friend, this does show a lot. Without Paul dominating every single question, it gives a lot of room for John to speak, but I noticed that George still was cut off and couldn't seem to get his opinion in. John kept cutting him off. Poor thing.

@MJequalsPBeatles I don't know for sure, but I have a feeling there isn't any more of the interview. When John quietly asks Paul if he's alright the second time (around 2:14), Paul appears to reply by mouthing "no", and the clip ends just after that. I imagine John may have stopped the interview after Paul admitted he's not alright. Any version I've seen of this clip, always abruptly stops just as this one does.

It's always cool to see 'reality' on Beatles visual footage, This is an early one. It shows the connect between John and Paul. Sure, John is concerned. He is used to Paul doing most of the talking. Here, Paul barely sez a word and is always on the edge of running off to puke. Good one.
