i dont know what SAW is but id say left for dead 2 my gf bought it for me so i havent been able to play it but i played the first one and it was pretty awesome. fable 2 was extremely terrible it wasn't aynthing like the first game i was extremely frustrated most of the time playing it and it has tons of glitches. honestly dude dont waste your time or money on that game. but i recommend reading the Bible and having a relationship with God and doing His will and purpose for your life
lol, Fable 1 was way more childfriendly then this. Fable 1 was soooo average and this was a little improvement for me. The victorian era setting was a original touch too

Maybe the blood or fact that you can just go around slaughtering innocent people in the most ruthless ways with very little consequence and sometimes you need to to unlock things?

The story was short as hell and not only was it not deep, it is SHALLOW! It's like a prettied up then completely stripped fable 2. At least give me something to do. Once you complete all the quest there's nothing to do, and then the legendary weapons are RANDOMN! Is the game even finished? It doesn't feel like it.
@Ericzeppe At least in Fable 2 there was alot of extra stuff that was actually useful and fun and you could do bounty hunter, slave rescue missions to get some action. In Fable 3 the game is just fucked up. The combat SUCKS and fire ball + lightning pwns everything while MELEE COMBAT IS USELESS! And what the fuck happened to the DOG?! It's like he got MINDFUCKED after Fable 2. He must have been hit in the head too much because he's an IDIOT! The dog does nothing now except annoy you.

I agree on you're review except for 2 parts. The story is good , but it does take the backseat because of the gameplay. Some parts are a shocking, specially the spire sections which are nothing like I've seen in any other game and the ending is a bit surprising. Also the load times aren't that long.

I played my cousins Fable 2 and I wanted it in minutes. I have my local gamestop holding one until the weekend but I really feel as though this is a game I will be playing for quite some time.

The point scale for good and evil is higher now, so the 5 points of evil you get for stealing wont turn you quickly at all. Though you wont get much money by stealing anyway, so might as well just get good clean honest work if you are good.
At least that is an option (to get clean work), in F1, if you wanted to buy some property, you had to kill owner (or make them die by proxy, which- interestingly, did not add evil points).

Yeah, honest work can actually get you good money if you get good enough at them. Plus some jobs get easier if you are strong. Also to buy property you just buy it now. It just costs more if there are people living there.
As for which one to get, dont worry about it too much. Both are good, despite what fanboys will tell you. Though I will say the whole RRoD thing is real. Already on my second 360.
That is oversimplifying it. First of all, the whole game issue basically falls onto what your tastes are. As it stands I have more PS3 games than 360 games. Why? I find more PS3 games to fit my tastes better.
Aside from that the 360's online isnt free. That just plain bugs me.

Whoa Omega Fable 2? BT3, Disgaea 3 and now Fable. We seem to have some shared tastes. Looks like Fable 2 has finally delivered on the innovation factor, and I hope the goods overtake the bads.
I thought Fable of all games needed a diverse and branching storyline, it really sucked that Fable 1 was practically the same whether you were good or evil.

if you cant die i dont see the point in buying clothes or potion(except if you care what you look like in the game) so it just gives me more moneys to get more powerful weapons

fable 1 was decent, but this game seems like it was made for 5 year olds, yet it is rated M..
it's kind of a misfit game, im really not sure what type of players they are targetting...

mmmm, you are correct. it has alot of mature content not meant for kids. maybe i was thinking about the cartoonish style and the simple rpg-elements.
Anyway, its fun to play but its not a very deep rpg experience

Fable 1 also had a little problem on defining good and evil-
I was practically a saint on one playthrough- and dirt poor, so I resorted to stealing stuff at night- which made me grow demon horns.
How petty thievery turns you into the devil incarnate was slightly unrealistic. Maybe there should 3 alignments- Good, Evil and Selfish.
