@Pentdad - I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but the ONLY reason one should dress this way is to protect him/her self from the elements. As we know, where Islam began the climate was mostly desert, sanitation was horrendous and such garb was needed for protection. Getting dirt and sand in your face in a sandstorm can really ruin your whole day. Much has changed since then.

heston, girls in Islam are advised to cover themselves from head to toe only in front strange men, not strange women, they can dress decently without convering head and face infront of their dad, brothers, blood related uncles and of course kids..Islam is totally rational religion, No teaching is such that puts illogical burden on Men/Women shoulders..Ok? i hope i answer your question..thanks ..please think why women are advised to cover themselves in front of strangers(only men), please think

well,there is nothing in the koran that says women have to wear burkas or cover themselves like this woman...u will find it is only extremist muslims such as the taliban who force women to cover themselves..and free women like the one in this video who dress in this manner are actually endorsing these extremist laws compelling women to cover up..anyone who was enlightened and educated would not adhere to covering themselves up like this as it makes no sense at all

I am a Muslim convert(white american) from Christianity my family even had missionarys and preachers .Jesus was not God but we still hold Jesus very highly and belive in the virgin birth and that he will be back again just like the Bible said but there is proof in the Bible that he was not God. (Who was he praying to himself? in the Garden before the "crusifiction". ANYWAYS my husband too is a Muslim convert from Christian and now we have 4 children who will be too(God willing)
