I have my blue and green cymbals switched around so that the crash is center and ride is far left. I prefer it that way so much more.

Although, I'm envious of your setup. I only play with the standard RB2 drum set with 3 MadCatz cymbals.

i think i've fallen in love with your set up...i know the bass "drum" and snare aren't standard with the Ion set...but what about the cymbals? anything special? cause i'm definately looking for that authentic drum feel from rockband..and the Extenstion cymbals for the standard drums just aren't doing the trick

My Blue and Green cymbals are the standard Ion stock cymbals. My Yellow (hi-hat) is a Pintech 10" TC cymbal.

just a suggestion, when you splice the videos together, make sure you maintain proportions, because your chart looks rather squished up. take a look at one of my drum vids and you'll see what i mean.

Nope. A real hi-hat has no bounce either, so it's pretty much the same as that :)

dave, with a drum module (possibly dtxplorer) what kind of wiring would be needed to play rock band and record the module's sound over the ingame track? (something similar egyokeo's setup)

Well any drum module should have a Headphone Out port, so plug that into whatever you want to use to record the audio and then just overlay it on the video using editing software.
