yuuummm :) i love balachaung delicious i never knew how to make it until now :D i just bought it from the store heh.. and i am burmese. Thanks for the recipe i might make it when i have the ingredients although we make alot of nga pi yum
PEANUT BALACHAUNG!!??? This recipe is crap (and so is the music!)and bears no relation to the authentic Burmese dish. Balachaung (spelt as 1 word not 3!) is cooked as a 'wet' or 'dry' option which depends on how much oil is used during cooking. It's main ingredients are minced dry prawns and shrimp paste cooked in oil with fried garlic slices.
there's diff variations of it you cunt. plus, why don't you just appreciate the fact that someone is at least trying to recreate a burmese dish...also, who cares that ba la chaung is one word you piece of shit?!!
I care that it is one word Smeg Breath, being part Burmese myself!
BALACHAUNG can only be made with dry prawns and not peanuts or any other shit, as any Burmese cook can tell you which is why I can't appreciate someone trying to pass it off a Burmnese recipe, having mangled it beyond belief. Why don't you engage your 2 brain cells b4 you express an opinion on something about which you obviously know nothing!? Crawl back to your limnophilous existence and carry on fucking your mum Shitsucker!
look here cocksucker, you're part Burmese; i'm 100% fuckin burmese so no point in going there!! how in the fuck do you think all those vegetarians in burma have been making their ba la chaung? as long as there's fried onions, garlic and chillies, it constitutes a ba la chaung. there are many regional variations which comes with this dish- some make it w/ dried fish, even shredded coconut. you think you're smart don't you?? motherfucker..
Thank you for sharing your recipe. I'm a Burmese-American girl living in the US. When I lived at home cooking didn't mean much to me but now I find myself trying to recreate those special dishes mom made. Thanks for sharing!
I like it with peanut :) tast much better .
