are you stupid? this game isnt like halo in the slightest, it runs on the quake 3 engine and for most of the game is played with a lightsaber..

That's actually the second level. It'll be easier for you to just watch me do it than for me to try to explain it.
Watch my Let's Play Jedi Outcast Part 6 and you should be able to figure it out from there. If you still need help let me know.

By Jedi Knight 1 I assume you mean Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.
Jedi Academy was actually the third Jedi Knight game. They just chose not to name it Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Academy for who knows what reason.
And no, you can only play as Kyle.

Yes, but the first Jedi Knight was a sequel to Dark Forces, so I think that still makes Jedi Outcast the second Jedi Knight game and JA the third.
And Mysteries of the Sith was an expansion to the first Jedi Knight not a full entry into the series.
