MTD's are not made like that anymore!  The old machines are so much better built.

In fact,today's snowblowers are made with "foil paper". CHEAP!!! and expensive!!!! ;)

@cosco40, that's not true of all new blowers. Also there are new ones, with reasonably good, strong steel augur, lots of power. I'm getting a 30 inch with big augur (6 sheer pins), strong engine, around 13HP with many great features and under $900. Sales are a good thing, lol.

Working better than any new snowblower made with cheap and thin metal. Mine has a 1/8" steel frame. Today snowblower are foil paper!!!! ;)
