i love Belize a lot, had a nice time when i was there in May 2008, on a cricket tour. Caye Caulker is really nice...and the Mayan ruins of Xunantunich are amazing.

I went to Belize,pretty country.1 dollar are 2 Belize,1 Heineken in PuertoRico costs 2 dollars regular price,In Belize was 75 cents...Love Belize pretty women tho.I went with the US Army and stay on a British Base (Price Barracks)I had fun.Made friends from Scotland and all over.The world is small,i met a guy in South Carolina,see him again at Virginia and then in Belize all thnx to the Army haha..well, peace to all.

I got to ride in a bush plane at San Pedro and there were water taxis everywhere. I went to Caye Caulker, San Pedro, San Ignacio, and Belize City. I like Caye Caulker the best. I went to the Xuntantunich Pyramids and I climbed up everyway I could some not even using the steps! It was amazing. Then I went cave tubing and got to swim in a river a jump off a rope into a river. I saw a fishing house not even on land in the middle of the ocean. I think you would like that as your dream house. I would

Belize was a beautiful place with incredible reefs for diving. Most of the people were fantastic, but... just be certain to use the taxis with the YELLOW 'certification' placards. (If I recall correctly on the color.)

It does Belizians far more harm to have people walk blindly and have a bad experience.

Most Tourist only travel to Belize City and not other districts. Belize City is where the airport is, and yes the city has been in decline but new tourist attractions outside the city are appearing and i do recommend not staying in the city but in places like Cayo, Corozal, and San Pedro

I visited Belize last year. Rural road ditches are full of trash junk vehicles. Most family garbage piles behind the tin shack have chickens feeding on top. The country has declined since the British left. Yes the USA has Detroit (ghetto) which is like Belize. If visit America's rural and small towns, it is clean and safe with European crime levels. Mexico puts Belize to shame. Belize has the great weather and could increase tourism if they would only have the leadership to clean the mess up.

I have tons of pictures also - we went to Caye Caulker also - at the start and end of our trip -we were there a month, travelled through Guatemala too, the mountains..nice music for it
