Howard is a street fighter with a ton of heart! I hope he follows a game plan. Number one he must check Alves's leg kicks. Mix up the take downs with the stand up.
@notoriouscrank - well, I think Howard has been more consistent than Alves over the last five fights or so, so the edge goes to Howard. Only if the Alves from 2 years ago shows up, would I reconsider!

Alves I think has the edge because Howard drops his hands a lot and you cant do that with Alves cause he'll knock you out! But I'd like to see Howard win cause Alves doesn't work on his weekness, which is his take down defense (Fitch,GSP) And Howard has a Wanderlei style which I digg.
@FLASH2394 this guy is a brawler but thiago has versatility .. he will get KO'd?? thiago isn't stupid ..hes not going to step into striking range and let him unleash like he john did in this video .. he will break down his striking with leg kicks and stiff jabs and back away .. but itll be a good fight . you cant muay thai a muay thai fighter lol and howard is no MT like alves is
I love Doomsday, he's a WW Rampage. He's yet to hit his prime, he needs a lot of polish on his feet (the only thing I'm qualified to critique) but hes a specimen.
