  • 0:07 R.I.P to all of those who have headphones in! lol

  • when you first started this technique i was like i wonder what result's gonna come out of this and it looks really good!

  • I was skeptical when I first started watching your technique, but I am amazed by the results. Getting ready to do my own copper highlights as I type :)

  • Awesome can you do mine :)) lol live it more videos plss...

  • Why arn't u using an foiling camb and why don't u ancor your foils down.

  • @TheRaksdiva I appreciate your input. All I can really say to that is that there are lots of different way to achieve the results your after:)

  • @TheRaksdiva If she uses a good amount oif tension anchors arent needed :)

  • great videos thankyou!!

  • What products did you use?

  • Thank you!!! I used this technique on my sister's hair. I used pink and purple. =)

  • what level of peroxide did you use?

  • hey great job!!

  • THX for this! I did exactly what you did & it turned out great! What bleach did you use? What would you suggest for med brown hair to get blonde, not orange-y color? (in general)

  • @anmoroto Almost any bleach will work if you use a higher level of peroxide. My favorite bleach is probably Redkin. Careful about applying heat with higher levels of peroxide..it takes really fast.

  • this is sooooo cute~!

  • She looks so happy.

  • very informatve. thanks!

  • Very nice job!

  • P.s. have you seen chelsea houska from teen mom?? Well she use to have hair kinda like this,do you think this technique was used to do her hair??

  • Nice job!!!

  • hi, I have dark brown hair, almost black,

do you think i could do this to my hair?

  • @happybirdlover You can do chunky highlights in any color. You might like a carmel color:)

  • @favatat Thx :)

  • @favatat How long does the foil need to be?

  • is this just the crown of her hair?

  • @sweetcin242 You could get this look by doing the crown only if your layers are long.

  • @favatat What do you do when done? Like how do you take out the foil to rinse and condition it? Ive never done this before

  • @BlackVeilBridesChikk Simply take them out in the shampoo bowl and rinse. Shampoo 2 times and then condition:)

  • what do u use for the blonde high lights?

  • @smb9245 That can vary quite a bit....I would need more info..

  • kool

  • You don't weave it?

  • @elle1010 not with this technique:)

  • Thank u for the tutorial I did this yesterday came out perfectly my client loved it :)

  • Love it :)) thank you!!!

  • Love it quick question : did you bleach her highlights?

  • @TheDeezythree Yes we used bleach:)

  • dont you weave the section?

  • what does back to back foil means!?

  • i have a quick question what is back to back foil !? what is the effect of it?! thank you hehe

  • @chickick92 It means foil another section without any hair in between:)

  • what does back to back foil mean!?

  • nice, thx for the video tutorial. don't stop making more videos.

  • That little girl look's mad. But anyways you did a great GOB (:

  • @weskeruc2 She was happy with it:)

  • Heyy nice video's keep up the good work =)

Can i ask you something I had dark brown hair before i dyed it to brown and now my hair is medium ash brown and some area's light ash brown im going to get highlights done tomorrow do you think if i put blonde highlights it would go light kind of brown i want it to be like a rreealllyy light brown :D Thanx

  • @katieclarakristie Without seeing your hair in person...I'm going to guess that Highlights should help correct your problem with the uneven color. If you get it heavy highlighted you could tone it with a light brown carmel color. You should probably have some dark brown low-lights put as well to even out the color.

  • @favatat thanx for your advice =)

I'm so happy to finally be doing what I love.I'm getting blonde highlighst in my hair.I just got black hair color outta my hair,so Im waiting awhile before I put blonde in it.I've been doing my own color since I was 12,so that's 23 yrs that I been doing it. I even do my friends for free.I had to tell u my story.

  • @TheStarAngel7 Send me a picture:)

  • Great job. I had no idea young girls had this done. I guess it's safer than all over..

  • WOW U DID A REALLY GREAT JOB IT CAME OUT BEAUTIFUL

  • Love these highlights. When they do a weave on me I can barely see them because I have A LOT of curly, long hair.

  • Hi, I love your videos. Can u tell me if I have black hair and want these types of chunks, what can I do to get them blonde and not orange/brass?

  • @tinabell256 Thank you! You could also do a more carmel (light golden brown) or red even and that would be less damaging. Get a consultation from a hairstylist or 2, (consultations are usually free). You can go as light as you want, but sometimes it might be too much damage and it will fry your hair. I'm here if you have any more questions:)

  • wow!! You're an amazing stylist. love it! can you make a vid of peeca-boo style plz?

  • @Bobbiinbeauty I have been trying to find a good model for that. I will eventually:)

  • @Bobbiinbeauty I think i have a peek a boo video coming soon for you:) X0

  • @favatat yeah..Can't wait to see. thanks! :)

  • Could you possibly do the double dimensions with redken. That would be great <3

  • What line of color do you use. I was wondering could you do more videos on color of all types. Like Maybe double dimension color.

  • @Chasity92100 I use a variety of color lines...Wella, Redkin, Matrix..... Double dimension would make a good video:)

  • Hey I was wondering are you an independent/ at home stylist. I am a hairstylist at Hair Cuttery. I am still pretty knew and out of beauty school. Your videos are great. I hope you add more.

  • @Chasity92100 Thank you! and Yes, I work from home:)

  • your perfect i love u now ur my bff (; i m done with my i phone lol xoxoxox hunn (3

  • Thank you!!! Off to do mine now ;) love your vids! So helpful and you explain it so well!

  • Great tutorial!! Thanks so much! Just one question... Did you do that same panel technique on the other side of her head? I didn't that in this video.

  • @Dianna671 Thank you so much! and Yes, the other side was the same. I try to edit out as much as I can to keep the videos short:) XO

  • I would like to try it for myself. When I go to beauty salon, they always leave it for too long and my highlights turn out almost to a white color. How long am I supposed to have it on? My natural color is semi med red brown, almost like your model girl but just a little bit darker. Please help!!!!

  • @shary525 The next time you get your hair done bring a picture of the color you want. Color is so hard to describe, it's so much better to have a visual. Also let the stylist know that they usually get it too light and maybe she will be more careful. Maybe your hair takes the color really quick or maybe your stylist doesn't like ANY gold..so to be on the safe side bring a picture:)) XO

  • does this work if i want to do a light brown highlight like if i but the brown dye the same way as u did urs

  • @rosanna1andonly Sure, just follow the same technique:)

  • if you buy a blonde hair kit will that have the stuff in it to get highlights?

  • @paulpaul12341 I would suggest if you go darker again to use a semi-permanent or a demi color. If you apply heat while processing (go under the dryer) it will penetrate through better and stay longer. I really like Color Sync by Matrix, try 5M. Good luck! XO

  • I need help really badly. About 6 months ago I made a stupid mistake and died my hair golden medium brown. My hair turned an auburn color. I've died my hair about 4 other times sense then and i still cant get rid of the red pigment in my hair. I tried using color opps and my hair just turned orange and i had a corrective color done a month ago but now my hair is showing the red again. If you can offer any advice to getting the red out please please let me know. I dont know where else to turn.

  • @ktly101 You need to get a retouch once a month to four to six weeks, also IDK where or what color line your stylist used but use Redken color extend so that way your corrective color sticks. Let me guess to you tried to lighten your hair from a dark color to a golden color and your hair pulled red.

  • I love these highlights but my hairstylist never gets it or the color

  • i had a question,i learning how highlight hair? i dont know what kind product i should use

  • @asiansoulgrl2o9 Would love to help. Why don't you send me a picture of your hair:)

  • @chukay112 Good for you! That's do nice here:)

  • @chukay112 Let me know how it comes out:)

  • AWW i loved this! definetely made it easier now lets see how it comes out hope my sister learned lol.. and the little girl very cute:)

  • ohh okay thankx

  • how many minutes do u stay with the foil?

  • @jessikita09 I used bleach, put her under the dryer, and it only took about 10 minutes.... because I applied heat. So if you are using heat, check it like every 2 minutes, because it will lift FAST. If you are using bleech and are "Not" applying heat, the product should continue to process for up to 90 minutes.

  • LOVELY highlights¡ Nice color¡¡YOU love awesomely beautiful in this vid¡ LOL¡
