  • @gorillacatapilla thats a drawing forsure

  • @LambOfGod451 do you know that or you think that . lots of old four door truck are kinda rare they were mostly state trucks and work trucks not alot were made and the one's that were got used until they were ready for the scrap yard.

  • @gorillacatapilla im not saying they didnt make that truck, im saying that is a not a real picture its a drawing, like a chip foose drawing kinda thing. ofcourse they made a 4 door. i have a 72 gmc 4x4 i no alot of history about them, im not a dumb internet hater haha, great drawing, not a real picture

  • @LambOfGod451 ahh i see. i know what you mean by one of the internet haters where they just say something to be a brat. yeah, i've seen the four door chevy's 73 to 87 body and the 62 -66 i've heard them called railroad trucks but im not sure about 67-72 the truck looks real to me but the seen looks like a photo set. even if they didn't make them sombody could have done a custom or like you siad a drawing.

  • i luv these trucks,my first one was a 67 shortbed stepside,my second one was a 69 short bed stepside with outside tire mount. There so easy and inexspensive to work on.

  • Hello! Iam from Finland, What is the difference between Chevy and GMC? What is GMC afterall, what it means?

  • Dear God these trucks are beautiful. I would love to own a '72 4-door dually, just to convert it to having two fat ba**ards on the back instead of 4 tires. This also inspires me to finish my '81 Silverado, which I think is the other great year the Silverado's had, because it takes the boxy style of the 80's, but still has remnants of these trucks, like the indicators on the bumper. Long Live Silverado's!

  • This video makes me want to go buy a classic chevy truck from this era.

  • the truck at 3:41 is the BEST!!! STRAIGHT UP BEAST!!!

  • what year is 0:57 ?

  • @SccrFrk312 1971

  • JUST PICKED UP A 69 LONGBED SHOULD BE A FUN PROJECT COOL VIDEO THANX FOR POSTING!

  • Great video man! I am an older guy than most of you, but I have always loved the 67-72 trucks. I liked the looks of the 73-87 trucks a little better back when they came out, but I live in the rust-belt and man those later 70's-80's chevy were such rustbuckets!- - that cinched it for me. I hate rust and refuse to have a rustbucket ever again... so.... That leaves me to like the 67-72 the most. They were more simple/powerfull/ and much more rust-resistant which is the most important to me

  • nice they look good but the 20's look shitty. dubs on older rides are just wrong.

  • got a 70 c10350 and a 71 c10 307

  • man i love this trucks I.M.P.o i love the 68 front clip

  • i have a 1969 GMC custom truck with a 327 engine

  • Had a 1970 stepside... sold it before i found out how rare a stepside was in 1970... oops lol loved that truck...

  • After watching this video, the hair on my chest grew an inch and my voice dropped another octave. GMC/Chev made the best looking trucks bar none.

  • i have the same truck as the one at 2.17 except its midnight blue and tubbed out

  • If you liked this you will love this 72 chevy video, very well made

  • RADAR LOVE!!!!!! Damn nice trucks.

  • nice trucks in this video, Ive always liked the 67-72 chevy body style. I currently have three 72's had four untill I sold one last month.

  • I have always thought of the 67-72 GM trucks as the best-looking of all truck, past or present. I owned a 67 C10 for about 11 years and it was one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. I had all kinds of fun with it, and it was always babied. I sold it about 10 years ago and I still miss it. I plan on getting another 67-72 somewhere down the road. Great web, great trucks. Thanks.

  • WOW! I haven't looked at this in several months, and response is great. Thanks! I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. These are truly the best looking trucks ever built IMO.

  • @67C30 i agree man beut trucks

  • OMG I remember my '72. Graduation day 1983 I burn't the strip up in front of the high school. Didn't get to walk up and claim my diploma but it was totally worth it! Had Asia "Heat of the moment" blasting my 6X9's running at the time. Anyone up for sharing a memory or two???

  • @lotsabullies OMG! Man, you must be my long lost brother lol lol. I did the same thing in 1983 also-such a good feeling to know you were leaving that school for the last time... So I left rubber all over My truck was a mint 1977 chevy big- ten Silerado -trailering special- with a factory 454- 400 tranny! Ah the old days of 60 cent gas huh? Class of 83!!!

  • @Lindawatcher Class of '83 as well!

  • @knybean HEY MAN! Good year huh? Life sure was ALOT more simple then huh? shaking head.......

  • My dad had a '69 panel truck that he would let me steer while I sat on his lap. I was 6 yrs old when one day he tells me to turn right up ahead. We had just entered an intersection doing 50mph, so I turned right! When the smoke cleared, I thought I was gonna get it. He just laughed and said he was proud of me. He never touched the wheel as he saw me counter steering. We made the turn to perfection. Best moment of my life with him. 40 yrs later, I just drove it last week for the 1st time alone.

  • @lotsabullies i have a 1970 c10 350 small block with edelbrock 600cfm carb, edelbrock air gap intake manifold, true dual exhaust and hedman headers

hugger orange with white roof and floor runners

i was on the high school drag team and for my last day senior year

i pulled up onto the front of the school and did a huge ass burnout

    totally worth it :D

  • @lotsabullies supernatural,lol

  • A huge inprovement over the 66' model

  • I've got a 72' longhorn.

It's ugly but it runs perfect and everbody wants to borrow it when they need the "heavy duty" stuff done. ha ha.

people insult me all the time by saying "i'll give you 500 bucks for that truck"

I tell em "i wouldn't trade MY truck for that piece of shit 04' tacoma youre driving!"

NOT for sale dicktards. At any price.

  • Got a '72 chevy and she aint pretty but ooo shes fast.

  • 2:48 its nice i have one buts a 89 2 door dually

  • Sweet video, man! I've always loved Chevys and GMCs of this vintage. My uncle had a 1971 GMC pickup, and my dad has a 1970 Chevrolet that needs a new engine.

  • i had a 69 short bed chevy unfortunatly sold it couse loose my job but i will defenitly buy another one as soon as i can love chevy trucks

  • OOooh baby.......................

  • these are by far my favorite year of chevys

  • I can make these year trucks longbeds into short beds, both the frame and the bed sheet metal, sides and floor.

  • its easy. just find a short bed box and put it on the long bed frame.

Thats what im doing with my 72 gmc

  • I jst bought a 72 c20 with a 350 4spd today, I have loved these trucks since my dad had his 71 3 on the tree

  • perty sweet but the 77 could put them all to shame

  • I love these trucks but really do agree

  • im selling my 1967 Chevrolet truck, it needs work inside and has no motor but we will give you a vortec 6.0 motor if you buy it its up for 10,000 so message me and give me a call at (626)548-1641 if your interested in buying it, thanks and much respect to those Chevrolet loverzzz

  • I have a 71 orange like the one at 4:54 in this clip. Its probably what it looked like 20 or 30 years ago.lol I just bought it at the beginning of the year and the day i get it back on the road i blow the transmission up. but yeah like the video and it has given me some ideas on what to do body wise.

  • @onebigkahuna69 wouldnt have that problem with a manual tranny i still have the original 3 speed colum shift altho my clutch did explode bout 4 months ago should get a vid of your truck up ima try to get one of mine when i get it running again

  • Yeah i'm going with a floorshift 350 automatic. I've been looking around for someone thats done that before and bounce some ideas off their head and to see what cables, mounting gear and other things like will a 30 trans from a suburban bolt right up? will the driveshaft be too short or long kinda shit questions.

  • idk if you checked out 67-72chevytruck forum, it where all these pics are from, they have tons of info, and someone will always answer your questions.

on another note, a floor shifter and tranny swap are easily done. depends on what your swapping from, you may need to swap tail shafts and lengthen or shorten your driveshaft. GM trannies are all interchangeable, you have alot of options. go to the forum tho!

  • @onebigkahuna69 yeah the forums he told you about are great for info i been lerking on there for awhile now usualy looking at picturesand hot rod did something like your talking about on there low buck muscle truck project

  • They are a coming trend..I say look at the average Joe Nowadays. We can't spend thousands and thousands of dollars to get a basket case Camaro, mustang or mopar and they are just downright hard to find.I've seen atleast 5 of these trucks sitting in peoples yards and there was two on one road less than a mile from each other.lol I know some are gonna say i built one because i like trucks but theres others that will see the alternative in trucks.

  • 1:21 wtf

  • what are those tires on the 8 footer at 0:12 ?
