  • You could post more videos with these magnets in repulsion, I found your videos very cool, sta congratulations!

  • Hello, I wonder, how many pounds can withstand these magnets in repulsion?

And how did you do to unite the two sides, the magnets are very strong!

  • hahahaha that is brilliant A+++++

  • nice concept

  • How far does it shoot?

  • haha, nice toy

  • that's pretty sweet.

  • Are these magnets taken straight from the earth and made stronger or are they super powered magnets made by the earth??

  • no they are a special type of metal that is already magnetized but very weakly because they arent pure so they melt it down and purify it and super magnetize it more

  • jk they an alloy with a high density and saturation limit for magnetism the alloy is neodymium, iron, and boron soooo yeaa........

  • Neodymium magnets are Nd2Fe14B a rare earth magnet made of an alloy consisting neodymium, iron, and boron to form the Nd2Fe14B tetragonal crystalline structure

  • And yes these can be man made there are 2 methods: There are two principal neodymium magnet manufacturing routes: 1. The classical powder metallurgy or sintered magnet process 2. The rapid solidification or bonded magnet process

  • no, they don't. not neos =)

  • You have to bring them past their Curie point to weaken them only being physically broken or heated up will destroy a magnet's power

  • nice... i just bought some of these magnets myself. is a 130 lb pull enough?

  • way to much fun!

  • lol, thats a cool idea! i just ordered a neo magnet with 250 pound pull! :)) how much pull is yours? they look like the same thing! nice vid * * * * *

  • be careful of your metal tools around (knives, forks, etc). Or other magnets if you have them.

  • THEY HATE EACH OTHER ( the magnets...)

  • it's really intererting

  • omg

  • How do you get the magnets to stay in place?

  • Glue?

  • that is so cool use should use some of those magnets that the mythbusters used 1000 pounds of force in one think of what you could do with to

  • HOLY SH**!!!!! THATS POWER!

  • That was freakin HILARIOUS! You could make a film six hours long, with all sorts of strange things being thrown at various strange targets. & I'd laugh everytime! - SOMEONE MAKE A VID LIKE THAT!

  • Holey shit.. 460 lbs of pushing power..

So how exactly are the magnets still in the wood..and the wood not breaking..?

    No seriously..tell me

  • Because the government says so. It just is!

  • the first thing i imagined after seeing this was a device taht works pretty much exactly the same as this, but, hits people in the face... lol

  • sick

  • YEAH! I love this kind of experiment! I've really enjoyed watching your videos today! :D

  • Awesome. Imagine how powerful one with more magnets and a bigger catapult arm would be? 5/5

  • love it :)

  • That is pretty cool, but I bet it is a pain to load.

Also, could use some kind of cup to make sure the bean bag stays on the arm long enough to get to maximum momentum.

Or shoot, even make it into some kind of trebuchet.
