I also think Morrigan was a massive influence on the way almost all succubi would end up being portrayed in anime and anime-influenced game art, largely because of the way her wings are portrayed, and the idea of her wings possibly being used for magic purposes or being able to be concealed or used for shape shifting. I don't know for sure, but I see her as an "artistic predecessor" of the Ragnarok and WOW succubi, as well as Kurumu from "Rosario+Vampire," among others.

I think she doesn't get enough credit among the game and anime fan base these days, probably because many fans might be a bit too young to have been there in Darkstalkers' heyday.  Morrigan was one of the most important characters in modern popular monster fiction - one of the characters who transformed the way succubi are portrayed in media and helped make them popular (Castlevania's succubus being another): in particular, the idea of being fun-loving, combat-capable and not necessarily evil.
