This is the most challenging song I've ever attempted to learn. (Keep in mind I play piano not guitar, and I can only play by ear.) Picking out the right chords and notes from 0:39 -0:45, and that tragic (it sounds emotionally tragic in tone to me at least) sounding chord change at 1:53 ish was ridiculously hard, because they're just to counter-intuitive to what I'd expect or ever even think of doing.. I had it slightly wrong for months and didn't even know it lol. I LOVE this song so much.

I love the chord at 1:53. It took me a while to put my finger on it, but I always get a little tingle up my spine whenever I hear it, and it's because the song shifts from sounding ALMOST lighthearted melodically to sounding suddenly more disturbed and unsettled. I love how he did that in his songs so well and without it sounding at all cliched or unnatural.
