I figured it was a nod to the original; I just never imagined the 4 letter b-word coming out, even for something like this. So much so that i did not expect it, the first couple of times, I thought the word was "there" - but then it got distinct. Just surprised me is all.
Get a life, Lizzy... this is a decent musical composition. And you know I have the philosophical "street cred" to say "get a life" with some authority - so really, stop obsessing over imaginary faults. It's a good song - in fact, the Solway version is one of my favorites.
Ahhh so this is the song that DJ Premier sampled on Gang Starr's "No More Mr. Nice Guy" :O Called "DJ Premier in Deep Concentration"
Seriously man, I just figured this out now, as soon as I heard the horns, Pete Rock also sampled it on his latest album "NY's Finest" with the song "We Roll" So yeah that from 89 to 08, ya learn something new everyday, peace.
