@pistibasi Sorry no it is Conde Hermanos A25 Indian Rosewood. I also own Hermanos Sanchis Lopez, very different sound and bracing style is different. In general the Sanchis is much more bassy, Conde more midrange.

i can see ur point in that, thats all ramon montoya's responsibility, he played rondenas in that special tuning, then it became a part of flamenco, i wonder what would gerardo's music be categorized as,that solea that he plays sounds very unique at first i would never believe that he played a solea because of its structure and different approach, for instance lots of jazz and classical elements...flamenco guitar just keeps evolving....but as long as it stays in correct compas.

is it possible to play rondena in standard tuning?

Sure, but that really defeats the purpose. The whole thing about it is the tuning and the key you play in. When you change that, it loses a lot of the essence of the form. Of course, one could still capture the spirit by some clever left hand moves. But why would you???

I like the way you play, but it feels that the composition is made of parts that are not related to each other. (sort of like drills and exercises, without a theme)

Honestly that is how flamenco is "composed". It is made of little unrelated building blocks called "falsetas". That is how we improvsise. I don't always play it the same way, check my "castillo" video. So you are right to notice that it is "disconnected parts".
