@missjunkheadx dude he was fuckin crazy! im from lowndes county, mississippi and the band is from the area here and you can run into the drummer at walmart. ive met a lot of people who have partied with the band, and they all agree that shannon was fucked up in the head (i mean that in the best way possible) and they were some of the craziest partiers. im so mad i wasnt older so i could have shared the same scene as them.

@JustinCoolHollis Yea I was one of those guys that use to hang with Shannon when the band would come here in MS and write or just hang out. Shannon was a wonderful person and friend. His personality was a gift.

NoRulesInNam you are wrong...noone has the right to say he is carried by shame...he brought entertainment, peace, love, and meaning to all his fans..so he died in a way you would or would not..so what he chose the things he did and i still respect that..yea drugs are bad in some ways..but they influinced his writing, his vocals, and his atittude..and so with many other artists and performers...stop judging..and appreciate what he brought to this world.

he definitely doesn't sound terrible, but you can hear the coke in his voice, it's a little raspy, but I think it adds to the depth of this performance, seeing as to how it was a few weeks before his death.
